On a side note, this is one of the last kits ever designed on pen and paper instead of cad, it was designed by the same gentleman who just did the PT-17 for revell. I can't remember his name now (sorry) but he's a treasure! He's worked on going way back to for example monograms P-38 and P-47

Mi haven't been able to give it a thorough inspection but aside from it having recessed panel lines, I don't see a bit improvement over the revelogram. Also this is the A version so it does not include the IFR probe and the nose tip is different. I'm going to try fitting the encore resins and PE into it see how the fit is.

I got mine yesterday. It's Legit. Side note. My kit arrived damaged but it was USPS's Fault. the box was wet and crushed. I contacted mega Hobby and they are sending me a new one!

you can use Lint remover paper rolls as transfer paper. Cheap and effective.

It is, Mr. Hobby gloss and flats are laquers and will eat through decals. I like to stick to future or other acrylic finishes. Unfortunately I can't thing of a way to save your decals. Can you post some pics?

the Pit on the tamiya is very nice. and building it OOB is a snap. When you add AM to the tamiya kit the build gets exponential more involved. I know this is true in other kits as well, but the Tamiya viper is so precisely engineered that adding anything AM takes you off course. that said, the Aries offerings for the Viper are VERY nice, and once finished it will set your viper apart. Stay away from the wheel wells. although they looks nice they are a paint in the fool to fit (shrinkage).
