    Birth day gift

Thank for the feed back. I think the problem is mostly that he never got used to the dual action. But after using an H and an eclipse top feed I mist say the eclipse is sooo much easyer to clean. And since he only has like 2 hours of actual modeling a week I think he spends 50% of that time just cleaning it. Who knows I mightnjust end up getting him tamiyas 32 spitfire
  3. Mailed it out Friday. Payment will be accepted in the form of pic of the finished model
  4. Looking at the vendor pictures wish i was there... although.... i think its time we modelers start demanding nice booth babes like the car and electronics show have =)
  5. So it's my dad's birth day next week and for onece I know what to get him. So here's the thing: he's been a paashe H user forever, I think he's even on his second one. He tried a VL one an it made him swear off double actions ever since lol. So I figured I would get him a new iwata. Question is; how does an iwata revolution's spray pattern compare to the H? He uses the H for everything soni want to make sure the iwata won't just sit next to the VL. thanks in advance guys.
  6. Will the monogram/revell do? Email me. Reyes.Felipe@gmail.com
  7. "... Aside from the decals and the fact the parts are molded in pink and black, this is a "normal" F-22A raptor..." what ever money you save on the kit you'll spend on primer lol
  8. I have all doors leftover from a failed build send me your address and the part number. reyes.felipe@gmail.com or if you want all the doors just let me know.
  9. I was planing on starting an F-22 and was experimenting on how to do this finish and the cheapest bests way was .... take an old (or new) classic testors little bottle of aluminium and let it sit until the pigments separate from the medium (if you've had yours for more then 1 day this should already have happened). Now, either use a dropper and remove the medium or just pour it out. Next spread the pigment on a clean terry cloth leave it out over night to dry now take an other terry towel and rub some dry pigment onto it then lightly rub the pigment onto your model. make sure you seal i

  13. I can't imagine them Doing anything to the cockpit and instruments besides some Improvised labels for translations.
  14. At this point I would stop any efforts and call iwata. They might be able to help or even replace the airbrush since this almost looks like it was caused by manufacturing problems. So call th up you can't lose anything. Just don't tell them you tried the boiling and freezing

  18. HOAs down here are way out of control (palm beach). My wife and I got married in January and because of the current state of the economy could not afford the venue my wife wanted originally. Thankfuly my inlaws have a nice place and offered their home for the ceremony. Not only did the HOA send them a letter of reprimand but they also charged them a fine!!! We sent them a thank you letter and an IOU
  19. Sounds like a clogged tip. There's a good tutorial on how to clean those in the stikies. I had that happen a lot with my aztek... Till I got rid of it... Never looked back /hugs his iwata
  20. Thanks for the info guys. Looks like you saved me some money then. One more question. There's a set of mkI wheel wells on eBay would those fit an mkV? It's made for tamiya so no worries there. Also do you guys figure it's worth the efort to upgrade a spitfires wheel wells on this scale?
  21. Hi all, i'm working on tamiya's 1/72nd MK. Vb with aries detail set. it dawned on on me that it would be a shame to use all this resin and not touch the flaps so question is can i use the flaps from the revel set on a tamiya? how much modifying would be involved? ebay link PS if anyone can tell me who has the tamiya PE that would also be appreciated.
  22. I'm selling my first build kit on eBay and was looking for suggestions on paking and shipping. Does anyone have any experience on the matter? Any help would be appreciated. FYI it's a revell f-15e 1/48, cans vert tails and canopy are not glued yet. The model is just way to big for me to keep it anywhere so I rather give if of to a better home.
  23. It's already out in 72nd a company from brazil makes it (full resin though). It on eBay for 45 plus 30 shipping I think i'l wait.
  24. Being Dominican myself i cant wait for a 1/48th version of the super tucano (Hopefuly not a full resin kit). I have a feeling these will be around for a long time in latin american airfoces and we all know how we latinos like to come up with interesting paint scemes =) here's a dominican super tucano with shark mouth and an aquatorian one with digital camo.
