  1. If noise is not an issue the just go for whatever your local hardware store offers. Specialy since your not into modeling full time. I'm mot sure what's available in your side of the world but you can save a lot of money if you buy "outside" of the hobby. This is the one I have maybe they have something similar? It's probably al made in china anyways :)
  2. Found this on craigslist, boy what a deal! Badgerbairbrush Maybe I should give him a heads up?
  3. I don't think anyone said bigger is better. I just like the fact thy I can fill a tank with 100psi and paint with 14psi for an eternity. Then when it runs out if it's to late I just switch to the litle one. The only reason I don't use the litle one all the time is because the auto on/off is constant when you don't have a tank on it so purr stop purr stop gets annoying.
  4. Hi! I'm no expert but I think it depends on your airbrush. I have a noisy 100psi one With a 2gl tank that I can use on any of my airbrushes. I turn it on and fils the tank in about 2 minutes and I gives me enough working time at 14 ps with my sotar 20/20 (gravity fed internal mix) how ever if I want to use my pasche H (external mix siphon fed) I need lots more air pressure about 40psi. So you basically need to match your airbrush to your compressor or get something that's overkill like mine. As a side note I also have a small 1/8th hp one that I use with the sotar but the constant on/off is an

  6. So I whent to pick up my wife at work and was snooping around her lab and found these babies and Oh my god wow just wow! they are awesome! cant even begin to explain how much better the the $50 ones we get from the hobby store these are. they are custom made for each user so its kind of weird when I use them but its still pretty amazing I asked her if i could keep them and she just laughed then directed me to their website $1000!!!!!!! so obviously i don't get to keep them =( but she's letting me borrow them for the weekend just in time to start working on my F-18's cockpit. Maybe
