    Tamiya BF109

Thanks glad you like it. The line where done with water soluble artist oils rhined with odorless turpentine. Some people like to use soap and water but I like how the turpentine let's the wash flow. The color by the way is titanium white. I used the same method on the 109 but this time I used raw umber and burnt ciena.
  5. wow thank you sir! that's awesome looking at those makes me think of just adding a drop or RLM02 to some GSG that would be subtle enough. but i think I will wait till the the decals and clear cotes are done that should help even more.
  6. never mind i figured it out. its not the 1/35th scale trump hind they built. it's just the mini hobby 1/48th scale one
  7. I've seen some videos of some Japanese dudes building a trump hind but the F version with the twin cannon. Anyone know who makes this conversion?? I can't figure it out. I have the cobra company one for the revell kit but I'm looking to make the Trump one Thank guys

Thanks for the comments! And dad I think it's a shame that you've never posted any of your builds, You have some real gems in your collection. We need to fix that tonight!
  10. I'm building the revell f15-E i have it overall GSG from MM but i cant figure out for the life of me what color to use for the radome. some images show it looks lighter, sometimes darker, sometimes it looks like the same color except its gloss not flat, or flat not gloss. any help please?
  11. All done! Thanks guys!
  12. HI guys. This is my OOB tamiya BF109-E3 and Eagle strike decals thank for all the help in the props category helped a lot! Finished using MM RLM02, RLM65 and Floquil RRC Pullman Green for the RLM 71 (Thanks crazydon) When I striped the first paint job i ruined the kit's panel decal, ended up painting it but it came out ok I think. i dont know how to take a better picture thought, sorry. Tried to make some seat belt out of foil but I'm not pleased with the results so I'm ordering the Eduard German seatbelts come Monday. Thought i would post this one to, i was just amazed at
  13. Is there a list anywhere f the best matchup for each paint color? just wondering here
  14. Hah funny you mentioned that! I'm actualy just leaving home depot getting some blue tack to try that. I actualy tried it before I striped the paint, but I had used the white type from 3m I think and it's not as malleable so the lines didn't come out nice at all. The only thing that worries me is that it already has a couple of coats of future and I'm fearing the coats will get to thick. What's your take?
  15. Decided to redo the whole thing. thanks for the Pullman green tip it looks a lot better! I know the lines are still not thin enough but i decided to give up. Also, can anyone tell me what color to pain the part of the slats and flaps that is hidden when retracted? I was thinking just 02 does that sound right?
  16. I stuck with it here's what i have so far. Lines are to thick , but my airbrush Kung Fu is not strong enough. any tips on making them thiner are welcomed
  17. Thanks i thinkg i'l just bite the bullet and leave it as it is. aeromaster used to be awsome i realy miss those. anyone remeber the name of that brand that came in the same tins as humbrol? they had exelent RLM color and where all gloss. i cant remeber the name for the life of me those where great to!
  18. Hi all, I'm working on Tamiya's BF109 with the eagle strike decals i know the pain should be 71/02/65 but it just doesn't seem right. I'm using Testors MM enamels and it almost seems like their RLM 71 is not green enough. tell me what you think. First the Eagle Strike instructions (Awsome product BTW) and my BF109 Thanks in advance

WHat do you use dilute your oils?
  20. If you have a harbor freight store near you, the have a good sale going on their compressors. A couple of the guys here use the and are very happy with them. Have a look http://www.harborfreight.com/air-tools/oil...ompressors.html
  21. anyone know what this includes exactly? they have it in rollmodels havent seen it anywhere else its EU48266 Mi-24 Hind Exterior (RMX) Eduard 1/48 Photo-Etch Aircraft Details
  22. Did you give it a food stir? Humbrol paints are notorious for that you need to stir in that bug glob at the bottom.
  23. if you get desperate and you there a Michael's store near you, you can grab the kit for around $17 =) just print this out hope it helps.
