My 1st Phantom was also The 1/72 Scale Revel F-4 as shown above from 1960, I remember this distinctly because I still owed 5 cents Tax I bought the kit at the local Toy store, rode my bike home and ride back to the Toy Store to pay the Nickel. .I was inspired by a George Washington story or a Abraham Lincoln story about honesty. From that time on the Toy Store owners treated me with respect and saved special kits and deals for me. That was in West L.a. in the 1960's. I still have parts of the kit in my spare parts bin. Lol.

Hello,, I am scratch building the xb-15 in 1/72nd scale. Where can I get a copy of the:"Handbook of Instructions Published by Authority of the Chief of the Air Corps by the Material Division in November, 1937."? Information request please. Also according to this color photograph the interior is natural metal and Khaki:XB-15 Interior.. Which makes me wonder if the interior of the B-299 and the Y1B-17's were not Khaki rather than Olive Drab. What is your reference for Olive Drab Carpet? I have not found it in any of my B-17 books. Help, I just opened up my Monogram B-36 Box after many years and it was sealed in a plastic Bag and these parts are missing. Can anyone assist me in replacing these parts. just let me know.
