as you guys may know i may open a modelling business and i just want to ask a few questions if its OK? what would be your ideal online model shop? what would you like to see more of? what would encourage you to use the website more than once?

well ive found a wholesalers with a min order of 150, but i can afford to spend more than that, i can probably afford around 800/month and still have 2k left to live on, i wont be making any deals until i have a price list because like you say its important to buy cheap i got intouch with hornby / airfix and they wont deal with me because i dont have a premesis/shop, do you think they would classify a lockup as a premesis? does that sound good?
-
thanks HOLMES
-
thankyou, i agree with what you say but i was thinking of just buying in a few kits and selling them online nothing serious to begin with. im not thinking of quitting my job to persue this, i just want some extra cash, ive got nothing to loose, the best part is if it doesn't work out i wont have to buy any kits for a while
-
before i go any further with this do you guys think theres potential for this idea? ive sent a message to hornby hobbies aka airfix asking for a price list etc now im just waiting for a reply
-
i think i will have to remember that thanks
-
thanks for the replys, ive tried to get in contact with hornby hobbies (airfix) to see if i can buy direct as the factory is only half a mile away from me so that would save money on postage etc if i can collect. but there was no answer on the phones so i will have to pay them a visit im thinking if i can get a good start from selling airfix (if i can buy direct from the factory at a good bulk price) i can move on to other brands and then possibly aftermarket upgrades to me this sounds do'able, what do you guys think?
