  1. I wonder how long before a 1/35th Gundam or Zaku comes out?
  2. Nope that's not the one. I have a later edition of that one. I'm pretty sure the one I'm thinking off was published in the mid to late70's.
  3. Hey all, Recently I've had a case of nostalgia and am wondering if anyone can help me figure out the names of two books from the late 70's early 80's. One was a VERY comprehensive book on Air-forces. All I remember was the cover had British F-4's or Buc's on it, I think. Maybe it was called AirPower? Anyway, it was between 200 and 400 pages,BIG book, and delved, in depth, into each nations air-force. It was STRICTLY late 70's early 80's. The second was a book on the ANG and AFRES. This was from the 80's, included three view Camo schemes for all aircraft used by both services
  4. Heller does the Mirage 2000 in 1/144, I have 4 of them. To put my two cents in, I would LOVE to see more decals in 1/144. I have to disagree with the coment made that pre-painted are not kits. The pre-painted/GASHPON products are kits, in fact companies like F-toy or Cafe Reo have released thier molds as plastic kits through Platz, two examples are the F-4E/J by F-toy, which BLOWS the Academy and LS/Arii kits out of the water; and the F-104J that was released a few years back as a kit. That being said, there are MANY modelers who strip the paint of the pre-paints and re-do as the scheme
  5. Hello all, New to the site and wanted to try my hand at finding a couple of the Fujimi 1/144 B-29 kits, specifically the Korean war F-13 and the KB-29 kits. If you have these please PM me. 6. Hey All, New to the board and wanted to say Hello and ask a question. Doing some 1/144 F-86F's up in Korean war kit and would like to know what color's the cockpit were in 1951-53? Was it still interior green, black or light grey? Thanks
  7. Hey all, Coming back to models after a break for a few years and trying to pre-shade a 1/144 scale ME-109 I'm getting some splattering and can't seem to get a nice fine stream. I've got the pressure at about 45 psi, but have dropped down to 25 psi, and I'm using a Pashe 'VL". The paint is tamiya and thinned down about 2:1. Any help, PLEASE.
