  6. Thanks David! You can follow this link and click on the photos for larger images. Don't know why it's so small on ARC? http://saafinscale.blogspot.com/2011/08/dassault-breguet-mirage-iiiez.html Nico
  7. Hi there! Finished this 1/48 Italeri Mirage IIIEZ this morning! Built OOB with MAV Decals. Matra, fuel tanks and the ladder came from a Hobbyboss Mirage IIIC kit. Hasegawa pilot. Did some scratch building in the cockpit. First rescribed model for me! SAAF 3 Squadron, 1980. Critic welcome! Nico

  11. I'm building one with this. Can't find anything else... http://www.aviastar.org/pictures/usa/beech_queen.gif http://www.aviastar.org/air/usa/beech_queen.php Hope it's usable.
  12. A bit too expensive for my budget hehe Maybe in the future...
  13. Oh ja forgot about that one! Those new Italeri 1/72 Impala kits aren't that expensive just don't know of any conversion kits for a Mk.II...
  14. One of the most beautiful aircraft ever built. And you did a great job with this one! But you need three more! The dark earth and olive drab camo Imp Mk.II The three tone camo Imp Mk. II And "Gannet"!
  15. Thanks gregair and tgoetz. The helicopter is not yet attached to the base. It was just hanging from a piece of thread for the photo. It will be attached to a brass pipe later and I'll make sure its in a level attitude
  16. Something like this? http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/rh/articles.php?id=5093 I like your idea!
  17. Thanks Diego and Pirata! Your advice is much appreciated! Will post some photos when I'm done.
  18. Thanks to all for the compliments and the tips. I will work on the rock face a bit more. Pirata: I'm not sure where the photo was taken. The helicopter is from 15 Squadron SAAF. They operate from Durban and Port Elizabeth and I've read a lot about their rescue ops in the Drakensberg region. I actually wanted this Dio to be a part of the drakensberg. Just forgot to mention that in my original post... This is what I'm trying to achieve with the base. Ross: Thanks for the advice. I have put on a bit of green but very little. You cant see it on the photos but I'll try to take a better close
  19. Hi there! I'm working on this 1/72 Bk-117 with a base. The helicopter is not finished yet. Still need to do a bit of detailing on it and I'm looking for a rescue crew! Critique on the base will be very much appreciated as this is the first time I've built a base like this... This was the inspiration for the build The chopper is hanging from a piece of fishing line for now. Thank you for looking Nico
  20. Thanks for all the advice! We'll see how it goes
  21. Think buying aftermarket decals is the best option...
  22. I built the 1/48 P-47D. Bought the 1/32 F-16CJ but haven't started building yet. Hope the F-16's decals are better!
  23. The clear part of the decals are very shiny. For example a 'no step' decal is a square clear decal with the words on it. The clear bits shines more than the painted surface so you can see the outline of the decal clearly...
