  6. Hi Gianni! Your build is outstanding... what you have done with the main landing gear bay is something to be taught in the modelling academy 😁 Anyway, I1m looking forward the final touches and result of the Bis. What kinda syrian camo gonna be this bird??? Early one or the yellowish-green late type, they applied after the local refurbishment?? Best regars, Polo
  7. Not a big surprise... I had some change in my life thats why I was away for a while. I always like to watch your step by step build... Nowadays I do not build maquetts.. just collecting reference books, photos etc.. and looking for ideas... I keep my eyes on your builds.. 😉 Merry Xmas and Happy New Year my friend! 🎄 Polo
  8. Hi Gianni! That is stunning work as usual from you. This could be a reference for many modellers, mostly for those not really expert of the Israeli Air Force. I well know the basic of your work, the Revell mystére based on the old Matchbox one. I'm just wondering what a beautiful gem came out from that old plastic. Well done my friend! Best regards, Polo
  9. Hello Rightwinger! Congratulation for building this nice bird! Awesome job. Just only one note, this version of the Mig-17 was the PFU version armed with 4 AA-1 air to air missiles (RS-2U the missile type in the soviet term). The Mig-17PF had just radar and gun armament and no missiles at all. ;) Regards Polo
  10. pics sent.... check your mail cheers Polo
  11. Hi Rob! In private, please send me your mail address and i will send you all my walkaround pics and photo collection (collected from net) to you. I think it is easier for you to pick up what you need for the next steps. Regards Polo
  12. Thx for your kindly words....Yes that mirage really had a-a victories but i did not have all-around pics about the camo from that period... and I wanted a silver arrow in my collection... but I never again turn for the matchbox two-seater mirage.... waiting for the RV or collecting money for the High Planes one.... About the mailing failure..... Maybe you should have to do an gmail adress... or i really do not know what could be the problem because i did not get any warning about the mail was failed.... in PM please send me again your address and try to send it again.... may i made a typo? (

  17. Hello Everyone! This is my last built, an old matchbox Mirage IIIB from the '80s, scratch building as much as i can. I used brass Pitot tube from Master, resin air intakes, resin Martin Baker seats, resin landing gear legs and wheels and resin exhaust/ after burner liner. All the cockpit was scratch built from styrene and plastic cards and finally two resin seats were insert. The wheel bays were cut out and rebuilt from plastic cards, and details added by using different copper wires and plastic rods etc.... the resin A/B liner did not fit to the end section of the fuselage so i had to figh
  18. Sir! It is impressive collection of the WWII Aces! Cheers magyaralba
  19. Hello Vacinotac! Looking awsome, nice built! Mr Polo1112, before posting please search on the net! During war time the painting wasn't the most important things for the ground crews, the sometimes had only hours to maintenaned, fix repaired the damaged aircrafts and keep them airworthy conditions.During the battle of Britain they were working over nights to put as many aircrafts as they could on qra by the next day, same situation could be on the aircraft carriers mostly far away from the home base... lacking of spare parts and replenishment.... ;) Finaly building models is a hobby and many
  20. Hello Uncle Uncool! I really not a big expert of the SEM but as far as I thnik that is a anti-corrosion material, or just a simple grease. The SEM often flies in nautical environment and the salty moist very corrosive! I must say that is just my oppinion... I realy intersted in the real reason.... Regards magyaralba
  21. Nice Found! I realy appreciate if someone delivers the FS numbers of the colours!!!! I am looking for a while... ( think the Begemot delivers wrong codes on its Su-24 decal and paint guide sheet) Cheers Polo
  22. Good to know Vesthepes! Thanks to point out this interesting things and flag history. Regards P
  23. Beautiful paint job with the metallic! Really like it much! I know it is not the critic corner but I would like to give you a note: This bird is not in SyAAF's colour rather in Egyptian Air Force's Colour. Check the flag ! The egyptian flag has a golden eagle inside the white. Regards Polo
  24. Not at all! Just let me know the next area you wanna work on and look up my photo library....;) I follow your build and marked as an reference for the future because I also have an Academy SEM in my stash.... but i haven made my decision which country's colour will it be presented...(may be in Iraq or French...) Regards Polo
