  1. Steve, I don't know about new features, but for me the new forums load instantly, and are really easy to nav about! Great work, I like them! Peter
  2. Thanks again to Kevin for another top notch transaction!
  3. Cool, thats great news! Thanks!
  4. Matt, do we know for a fact this is 1/48th?? The pic shows no scale. None of them do, except for the 1/350 Gearing. We can safely assume the armour on that page is all 1/35 and/or 1/72. But the Ta-152? Hmmm...I wonder, are the 5000 series part numbers all 48th?

....Hello Vince, all kits were purchased from local hobby shops where I live, and were in their original shrink wrap. The shops in question don't permit customers breaking shrink on kits that are on the shelves for sale. They do have a few open kits of new 'hot' releases for customers to look at at their sales counters. ...Bottom line, Eduard will only warranty missing and damaged parts to customers direct if those customers bought their kits directly from Eduard's online shop. Everyone else, has to go through their LHS, and then the LHS has to go through their distributor. If you bought a u

....yes my canopy on my $80.00 Eduard Special Edition Sptifire 22/24 was packed with the main sprues, and it was a ruined mess when I carefully removed the clear sprue from the bag. ....I emailed Eduard customer service, and response I got was surprising: "If you bought your model through our Eduard On-Line Shop, and we have a record of it being purchased from/through your Customer Profile/Account, we will warranty the damaged parts. If you did not, contact your LHS where kit was purchased, and have them contact their Distributer for all warranty claims". ...I'll not be purchasing any Ed
  7. ...use MM 1710 Dark Olive for the Topside Green, and MM 2126 Topside Blue, which is in fact correct for the VVS Underside Blue. From the archives on the VVS site. I have used these colors on several VVS subjects and they look correct. ...White Ensign Colorcoats are the best for the other exterior VVS colors.
  8. ....His Fury upgrade set for the Hobby Boss 1/48 kit is stunning. He answers his PM's right away, and ships even faster.
  9. ...now, THAT is totally amazing. I would need 2 Optivisors on my head to even be able to see that decal work. Unreal.............thanks for sharing that Mike!
  10. ......Stunning model Sean, absolutely outstanding. And a vac no less........ Simply amazing....the glass, finsh, and decals. Great work............thanks for sharing this, it's really inspiring.........!
  11. ....Triarius....you can't buy Tamiya AS or TS Lacquers in bottle form.......which is why we decant them. Been doing it for several years......always with fine results. Like all my paint mixing and spraying, I have a large fan ventilating my work area to the outside. ...Old Blind Dog....the paint volume always decreases as it out gasses. I used to wait up to an hour waiting to for the paint to out gas, partially covering the bottle with a piece of masking tape. I now wait a lot less......20-30 mins. I have even decanted small amounts right into my airbrush cup...waited 5-10 mins, added thin
  12. ....simply beautiful work Mike! That's one of my most favorite RCN schemes for the Sea Fury! I am looking forward to reading your build article and seeing more pictures in a future issue of MAI! What a great 'cover girl' your model will make!
  13. ...Sylvain, simply awesome 109E-3 today. Exceptional paint and wonderfully restrained weathering! I can see why your model did so well at the competitive level! And at Capcom no less, where there is some very stiff competition from many top modelers. ...Once again, congrats on a great model!
  14. ..Agreed, Congrats Greg on a great build. Desert Emil's are just plane cool!!
