  1. I created a post on a air brush f/b page. I had no idea it was going to do as well as it did. It needs 10 more shares to reach 200. Interesting to see people coming back and saying thank you and they ran out and bought a respirator. A second post is being created. This time it is about ventilation. Here is a link to the first post. Maybe get a could more shares. Cheers Gomer Gizmo. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1415417825431972/?multi_permalinks=1990228601284222&notif_id=1557912339543374&notif_t=feedback_reaction_generic
  2. Once again idiots are going to ruin a good hobby. Drones are going to kill us. There is talk about having to be tested to get a fliers license
  3. If you youtube Avro Arrow rest flight there is a guy in Barrie Ontario tested one with devastating results. It is plain to see his center of gravity was tail heavy. Almost looks like the Zurabatic flip. The one from Barrie was about 10 times the cost of ours. Ours was about 1,500. Found this https://www.amazon.ca/Avro-Arrow-Story-Evolution-Extinction/dp/1550460471
  4. The Arrow is blue insulation foam with aluminum arrow shafts for strength. The red and white is a scratch build with using pink foam. The Spitfire is me putting it up in Zurakowski Park after a repaint and putting the call letters on. It was a kit. The desk that most of my smaller work is done belonged to Janusz Zurakowski. His son Mark gave it to me. What a pleasure to build on a piece of history.
  5. It has been a long time since I been in here. Dont frequent forums much any more and have moved on to something a little bigger. This is what we been up to. 1/10 7 foot Arrow. Two 90mm electronic ducted fans, two 22.2 volt batteries and two red brick 125 amp speed controller. We plan to fly it this coming spring at the old air field in Bonchere
  6. A friend of mine gifted me the old 1964 Aurora B58 Hustler. Just getting into the build I discovered one of the landing gear braces is missing. I have seen 1:48 metal parts but they would be way to big. Is there any old time builders around that might have the part. Or is there something that would be close in after market. Was going to attempt to scratch build the part but thought because of the design it may be very hard to reproduce a solid piece that wont break.
  7. Tried searching the net today for p/e for this kit and couldnt find any. Anyone know who might have some or something from another company other than Revell that might work?
  8. In case anyone is interested I got some stuff in the mail today. 4 booklets and 17 pages of blueprints.
  9. Thanks for the pics. I am just finishing the Monogram 26 tank truck version and the shots helped me. There is three lights left to put on and I can't figure out where they go. I talked to the Mack Museum and they are sending me the maintenance and repair manual for the 26 AC version. You can see the build here. http://www.plasticmodelsplus.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=509&start=20 . Thanks again
  10. While the CF 105 Arrow is on hold here waiting for parts from Hobbycraft I decided to make a little video for a laugh. Hope you enjoy it.
  11. Buddy sent me a picture yesterday of a Tesla coil. Apparently he is going to ship me one in a few days. Can't wait. Here is the video of the one he is sending me.
  12. Me too. There are some out there but very hard to find or get, specially if you dont like buying online.
  13. Another option is to contact hobbycraft and ask for a set. They gave a set to me because the ones in this kit were damaged. Also that 1:72 kit, the landing gear was wrong.
  14. Thank you sir. You are a wealth of info Gonna try a couple tests with the razor saw. I use them a lot on wooden kits.
