Hi all, I tried looking for an answer to this question before starting an new thread, but wasn't successful. So here goes. I am totally confused by the whole Mr. color Mr. hobby difference. While it is pretty clear that the Mr. color brand of paints is acrylic, I read somewhere that it is solvent based. Does this mean that it has the same fume/stink problem as lacquer paints? Is eye/breathing protection required while using this paint? Also, can it be thinned using water/windex? Hello everyone, I recently bought an Iwata Revolution 4500 CR Airbrush. I am planning on using Model Master Acrylics. Since this is the first time I am using an airbrush, I had a couple of questions. 1 - Do I need to thin the paint prior to painting? I have read in various places that I can brush straight out of the bottle. Some folks recommend that MM Acrylic paint be thinned with Isopropyl Alcohol. I stay in Saudi Arabia, so can't use any type of alcohol Will distilled water do? I also can't order Tamiya or any other thinners cuz none of the online shops will ship that stuff by air...
