  1. I would like to add that the best decanted lacquer to spray are the Tamiya sprays. The are phenominal they lay down with an airbrush better than any paint I have ever sprayed.
  2. ....Dateline Montana.....Local residents claim to have seen Zactoman as recently as last weekend. One resident claimed that he had spotted Zactoman at local convienence store when he approached Zactoman claimed he couldn't talk now had jobs to do for "Zactowoman". When a search of the database showed no matches for "Zactowoman" this reporter immediately set out on an investigation as to whom this person may be. But no references have come to light, so I can't help but wonder is she some new previously unknown super heroine, or perhaps the leader of a more advanced civilization, a sort o
  3. .....This just in confidential sources have been reporting that there may be more to the story of the Russian connection than previously thought. An inside source has revealed that Zactoman may be in direct contact with a Russian code name Eastern. Perhaps these two are up to something. We will have to wait and see....... Stay tuned to this thread for breaking news.....
  4. Has Zactoman been abducted? Rumors are circulating. Some believe aliens, others believe government coverup. The discussions in dark basements have Zactoman tied to an intercontinental resin conspiricy, in an effort to drive up prices of necklace beads and plastic turtles. When contacted for comment Washington chiefs of staff simply declined comment, citing security issues. When pressed they did admit to being in close contact with the Russians. Head Intergalactic representatives refuse to comment citing need to know basis, although off record admitted that that they had recently shippe
  5. Me too. I have given up on the SU30 & SU27 UB canopies. I want this set.
  6. I know, and there are that many left, imagine how many were produced. I know the current owner of them is using them for insulation in his house. Those and a butt load of P40's.
  7. There are thousands of the Ec135 still available. That supply will never be exhausted.
  8. Your stuff will just magically appear. He doesn't send any confirmations. Poof its in your mail box. I have ordered several time from him by the way, first rate all the way.
  9. The things they think of to get out of sex. Nice room by the way.
  10. I have been trying to find information on how far out the exhaust nozzle sticks out past the end of the airframe on ANG Super Sabres (f-102 exhaust). I have looked at 100's of photo and can't find that perfect shot. I want a dead on side view of where the engine exits the fuselage. I have found plenty of shots showing the nozzle and close ups. But need to know how far out it is. I am working on the 1/32 Trumpeter kit with the Aires exhaust & Master Details burner can & exhaust nozzle. If built as described the exhaust nozzle would be partially inside the airframe, which is incorre
  11. I need to buy several items but it's hard to find the money. I figure about $300 buck of stuff. The hobby shop is slow too, the last 2 months are down from last year, the economy sucks and we have an election cycle. People will hold onto their money till they know the outcome.
  12. Thats what the guy in the Aires booth told me. He said a couple of months, that thier master pattern makers were backed up with projects but it was coming soon. So take it for what it is worth.
  13. Pretty sure I saw it in Omaha. Thats how I found out about the D I asked, I used the two boxes to help him understand my question. Maybe I was high pretty sure I saw it though.
  14. Aires has an A & B cockpit and will be coming out with the D version in the near future. Hard to go wrong with the new Aires stuff.
  15. Sweet. Wondered what you have been working on.
  16. Interesting considering dealer net is $95 for the kit from the importers.
  17. NO MORE ZACTO CANOPIES UNTIL WE GET SU27UB & SU30 CANOPIES!!!!!!!!!!! Ok I am finished.
  18. You drinking? Where did that come from? I haven't read anything here that leads to that conclusion. I personally think his plane looks awesome, but I have not ever seen it in person. To look at a model casually is completely different than judging a model for competition. And would you be as forgiving if it had been, say, a seam down the middle of the canopy? Or perhaps a gap in the fuse join? A bad putty seam? Bad fit of the burner can? Which thing(s) should be overlooked just because the rest of the build was a lot of work, and a competing model had all those basic things done correctly
  19. A good judge should be looking! I mean isn't that the reason for judging in the first place? It really shouldn't matter how hard it is to get wheels straight on any kit, if you didn't do it you flunk basic construction, period. Degree of difficulty only comes into play when you have models that are very close in comparison and you have to weed out one over the other.
  20. Can't tell you the number of times I judged a model that was awesome, but lacked 1 item in basic construction. For example a seam down the middle of a barrel. I would overlook a slightly silvered decal before I would crooked landing gear.Basic construction first. Kudos to you for understanding that.
  21. Will Zactomodels be at the IPMS Nationals in august in Omaha? There are some goodies I still need.
  22. ;) I think with enough clones of Alexander we could quite possibly take over the world.......muahhhhhaaaaahaha
  23. Have you thought about just cloning eastern? Would simplify thing tremendously.
