I know the currator of the museum here in Bagotville and with the squadron's 70th anniversary this year he has been working on an updated exhibit on it's histoy. He might have some photos in the archive plus I believe the remains of the 425 colour CF-101 are here at the end of runway 18. I will try to get in touch wit him and see what I can do. Charlie, Are you talking about he black voodoo with red markings and formation lights? If so that one happens to be a gate guard at CFB North Bay. I have friends there hat can get pics. Denis

Decals are done and I just finished sealing them with another coat of future. I'll let that dry for a day or two and then on to wash and weather and the placement of the small bits. Here are some pics of the progress: First I want to show what I did to the exhaust to be able to paint the inside like I showed earlier. Now this is where I am at. Missiles on, tail on and the GBUs are ready and waiting to go on. Thanks for looking. -Denis

Nice. I have the same JR scheme from CAM decals and hope to get an F-4B soon so I can build it. Good luck.

Quick Update. I got the decals onto the ordnance and missiles. The first pic I took without the flash best represents the colours I used. I included a second pic with flash since I believe that one is crisper, just fades the green a bit on the GBUs. Quick question. Should I do a wash to enhance the lines or leave it? -Denis

Hi, I have a Dragon Tiger I Late 3 in 1 if you're interested. The only catch is that I used the decals from it on my Tiger I with Zimmerit for Pz.Abt 505, but there are enough decals left for any other option. Plus I can add in the decals from the zimmerit kit. I also have other armour kits I won't get to now that I am concentrating on jets. Cheers, Denis

Hey Everyone, This is the Academy F-14A Bombcat that I was not able to finish in time for the CONA GB. I had posted this update in the old GB forum but there is no activity there so I will finish up this WIP over here. This kit was originally part of a Tomcat Triple build but I quickly realized that I bit off a bit more than I could chew and started to concentrate on the Academy kit. This is awesome news and the sheets look really nice. I know Dan "ALF" McWilliams personally. He flew CF-18s so you know these are accurate. I will be in for a set or two of both the decals and tails. I really hope that both become available in 1/48 in the near future. -Denis

My Wife just gave me a late Christmas gift. Uncovering the F-14A/B/D Tomcat by Danny Coremans from DACO Publications. A book that has been on mt want list for a while. Maybe now I will tackle the 1/32 kit on my shelf. Happy New Years, Denis

Yes and don't forget that NORAD was put on alert after the A-Team escaped from that base in Germany. LMAO

The title for the one in the link said "lighted edition" so there are probably two versions. Still, given how much a new 1/32 scale Tomcat goes for these days this 1/18 release might not be too hard on the wallet. Of course I would be changing the decals for a VF-103 bird.

Great work Gianni! I'm glad you got it done in time. Unfortunatly for me between work and family I just could not squeeze in enough hobby time to finish. I'll keep plugging away though and make updates on my WIP. Oh, to answer your earlier question, the Bombcat I am doing is an F-14A Black Knights. -Denis
