Hi guys Thanks to you who replied to my earlier post reguarding the pilot seats armour plate.... What I want to know now is.. 1). What colour should the actual seat itself be.? interior green or black.? I always thought black but the Tamiya instructions imply green.? 2). The tamiya intructions say to fit the (what apears to be) the pilots parachute, my model isn't going to have any figures inside so am I correct in thinking that it shouldn't be their.? wouldn't the pilot have bought it with him and it wouldn't of been left inside the plane.? Thats what I thought but you do often see pictures with a circle on both sides, so the front it is then.?

After many hours of work I have finnished constructing my tamiya 1/48 pilot seat, I have spent a lot of time adding all the Eduard bits to it and will be painting it in the next few days. My question is, is should the Armour plate/head rest have a yellow circle on both sides or just one.? the Eduard bit has an out line for ony one, if their should only be one, which side should it be on.? facing forwards or rearwards.? Hello. When using PE brass (I've got a load of Eduard stuff) should I clean it back to its brass colour or is it ok to prime and paint in its grey finnish/colour..? sorry if this is a stupid question, just thought I'd ask.. Thank you.. Tony

Hello Chuck. I have to say what a truly brilliant job you have done. I have finnaly got my stash pile down to a level where I was happy to purchace the Tamiya 1/48 lancaster, I bought most of the Eduard bits quite a while ago and over the past couple of weeks have made a start on my own. I would like to ask of you, if you wouldn't mind letting me know exactly which colours/paint codes and band of paint you used for your lanc, I have had a few builds of WW2 aircraft and have never had an end result quite as go as yours looks. Also, if you wouldn't mind, same question again for your bombs..
