1/48th WWII aircraft, axis and allies, 1/35 armor. any U.S.M.C. equipment that’s stamped out in plastic or otherwise, collecting books on aviation as researching the subject makes building it more exciting.
  1. Zack, very, very nice, it inspires me to throw my dvd of "The Final Countdown" in and watch it for at least the 50th time.
  2. Bad Turbine, no more tour guidin' on your time. http://www.nmusafvirtualtour.com/full/tour-pkg.html
  3. 767mech, Kind of odd isn’t it, work on real aircraft for a living, go home and build aircraft models or In your case during chow break, “were some sick puppies†ha-ha, I found that when I actually worked hands on aircraft I did build models but not very many, then between being laid off or working where there are no actual aircraft to be around, I start Jonezen to be near any aircraft, I get all amped up and have 3 or 4 going at a time. It’s our passion and we always find time to be near it, same with family. Good luck on that C-5, hope you got a good place to lock that up there so it
  4. Disregard the track question, AFV Club T-158 "Bigfoot" tracks look like a good buy, but any other items please add the link. thanks
  5. Greetings all, I'm taking a poke at building an armor diorama 1/35th scale 2 USMC M1A1'S and maybe an Amtrac (circa'04)Fallujah looking for aftermarket tracks for M1A1 not the cheveron type track that came with MRC and older Tamyia kit, does anyone make rubber, vinylor plastic link modern type? I did find actual metal tracks but 34 bucks a set is way to pricey for me,or links to any other aftermarket goodies for the Abrams. thanks,IRONDOC
  6. all it needs now is that 1st place trophy next to it!!
  7. Girolamo, Your ol' Monogram pony is proof it's all about the finish work not necessarily the kit, great job, I'll be diggin out my fossilized Monogram P-51D box and eyeballing it for the next build!!
  8. great B-17 and B-25 Video, awsome camera work a couple minutes long, Enjoy My link
  9. jetboy your tearin' me up--I cannot stop laughing at that llap goch guy in the photo,, just stare at it for a minute ,dont know if its the bug eyes in a mask or them black buckle shoes with high top socks, maybe that hat I dont know,my friggin ribs hurt. I glad I cant read most of the fine print, I may wind up soiling myself. thanks for making my day bro DOC
  10. Pink Floyd, Camel,Yes, Genisis (Trick of the tale).David Gilmore,Spyro Gyra, mostly 70's progressive rock, but dig just about anything with very little or no vocals in it.
  11. Trek, Real nice job on that hotrod, canopy rivetdivots a bit heavy, cannons need blast marks on the fuselsausage, fresh or faded (after wash rack) look. Maybe dirty that birdie up a bit more, looks too clean from what I remember them and OA-4M's to be at El Toro <S> DOC
  12. ok,since it's gone, now its time for a subject joke,,, "if you get an e-mail warning you about tainted meat that comes in a tin, don't open it, it's Spam"

youbetchaa Jetboy, I care, mankind needs to explore space with urgency, I was very dissapointed when they retired the last space shuttle. I sometimes feel avitaion and spacecraft design is digressing in its general form, yes turbine engines 100 times better than 10 years ago, composites, carbon fiber, fuslage's wings but really, look at the modern airliner, still the basic timeless B707 design, but putting earth obects on another planet,,SIMPLY AMAZING.
