  1. still working on the cockpit as not had much modelling time recentely.i added buttons switches wires etc to cobra companys cockpit, decided to use eduards instrument panel and other bits due to the cobra co one being a bit shoddy (bad casting}.still lots to do!still need to build gunners TOW joystick and gunners side air con unit and LOTS of sanding to fit cockpit into fuselage.was debating whether to try archers rivet transfers as ive destroyed alot due to sanding if anyone has used them any info will be appreciated-thanks [/img]

  9. Howdy all. just started work on this (i need a break from my corsair....dont ask lol), scratch built the engine and have started removing panels while im waiting for my cobra company cockpit set. I intend to open up one engine, the rotor break controls, side electronics and the cannon. Im using the Osprey 'cobra tank killer supreme' book for reference as it has a few really cool opened panel photos as well as the internet of course. Also i was inspired by Andreas Greim's AH-1W build which you can find on scale-rotors.com, really nice work check it out. Not sure what paint scheme to do yet,d

Heres a few pics of my corsair, im trying out alot of new techniques with this build (super detailling, scratch building etc) and ive spent around a week or so on it so far Markings have been masked and sprayed (as u can probably tell! need touching up...) May need to tone down the weathering.... thanks for looking! comments/criticism welcome
