Funny you should mention that.....in the 15 years I've been out of the loop there's been some incredible advances in casting technology - there's a company called Bravo 6 who do an entire range of 'Platoon' figures, as well as other Vietnam and WWII subjects - the casting has to be seen to be believed - I plan to make a 1/32 Phantom...or possibly an F-105, or another Huey...or a Loach....and have a platoon (pardon the pun) of these guys walking by the revetment, a bit like the opening scenes of the movie. I've been modelling on and off since I was 7 (well I guess you never really stop) - I always specialised in dioramas, especially from the Vietnam War. My father was one of the founding members of the IPMS (his membership number is 0004).
