  2. Well I got the kit on Friday and I tore right into it. So far I have loved building this and I hope to have the trailer done next week. It may not be perfect, but I'm happy with it. I will hopefully get some photos of my new planes up soon too Vince
  3. He as been in FSM a couple of times. I just had my mind blown in front of my face,I'll have to learn to build all over again Vince
  4. Man, If I had the money and the room for three more Canbarras I would pop on this. Vince
  5. Thanks, It looks like I'm going today I added a 48th scale C-21 to the display case, and it looks like I will have an F-16,KIA T-50 and a Mig-29 to add to the case. Honestly I am not trying to do "Speed builds" I am just at the point in my life where I can spend 8 hours a day in my shop, I can work and I am waiting to get my disability so I guess I am lucky enough to have lots of time in the workshop while my daughter is at school. I will post more photos soon, I'll keep this tread going as away of keeping track of what I build. who knows I may have 30 models done by the end of the year! W
  6. Well for the long term I have my Nova C-141A and the Hobby Boss M1070, But I am planning to build an F-18C,F-18D and a F-18F. I just finished an F-16N and I will get some photos of it up soon. There will be other builds that will pop up,so we will see what happens in the rest of 2012. Thank you for all your comments, its nice to show my work off for a change Vince
  7. I have added some new photos to my Photobucket account. I had my brother take these since he has a better camera and steadier hands then I do. I hope you like them. And now for some targets None of them may be perfect and there are mistakes here and there, But I'm happy with what I built Vince
  8. love the afterburner effect on the -135
  9. Just as nice as my KC-135 collection, now, where to put them when they are built Vince
  10. I'm using Aircraft Grey on my C-141A EDIT, It just hit me you are referring to the overall grey C-141B, in that case AMC Grey
  11. I would bet its Kinetics's molds since that have been sharing molds for awhile
  12. Could you see doing that in a full scale plane?
  13. Looking and the photos in the prop forum of the kit you posted, I would think that the rectangle area will need to be cut out Vince
  14. It may be a mounting tab for shots that have to be cut into the wing. Or the part was mounted on a block of wood on the vacuum table

In case anyone wanted to know about the model, here is mine Display case
  16. Well, not much to say about this kit. It goes together really well with a minimal filling and sanding. Decals worked great, since they were printed my Cartograph. If I had any complaints it the decals on the side consoles and the separate oloes on the landing gear, but I guess that's to keep the cost of making the molds down. Also my white got a little dirty while I was decaling it, I have to learn to keep my hands washed
  17. I have been working on that kit too, its wonderful to build and I am working on the putting the decals on mine now
  18. um WOW, you should send that to a model company, your drawings a more detail the ALL SR-71 kits put together! What program did you use to draw this?
  19. I just finished my A-7K,shape issues aside I liked building it. Yes it could use more detail but I am happy with it
  20. First off, Yes,its 48th scale Sorry if the pics are a little blurry, my hands shake so its hard to hold the camera still. The kit went together without any major problem, other then the aforementioned color with the decals, it was a fun build. If I can say there where any cons, it would be the seats, they lack a lot of detail and they don't stand up with the rest of the kit. People have said there are issues with the bottom of the intake and top of the canopy being too flat, I chose to over look that and enjoy building the kit. The chances of someone doing another 48th scale A-7K is slim to
  21. I built this one out of the box with the exception of the seats which I stole from a Hasagawa A-4. Putting the shape issues aside, my biggest complaint is that the marking should have been dark grey instead of black as show in the Verlniden Lock On series book on the A-7.
  22. I took a break today from the C-141 to work on my A-7K, I started this one after Christmas and looks to be the first finished model of 2012 for me. I built it OOB but I am planning replace the seats with some after market seats since that was the weakest part of the kit Now I need to figure out what I want to hang on the hardpoints
