Here is today's progress. I spent the morning fill and sanding trying to fix a few mistakes I made. I primed the fuselage and the engines to look for flaws, hopefully I won't have to do any more major sanding

First of I like to thank Mike for giving me this kit, with the exception of a few vacuformed canopies, I haven't built a whole kit till know. I never thought I would say this, but I think I like building vacufromed kits.I have the fuselage together, I added seats, control yokes and instrument panel from a KC-135 to which where a bit better the the resin ones that came with the kit. I miss-cut the opening for the clear windscreen so I have to rebuild the area around the cockpit. I also started on the engines, they are pretty straight forward to build. I plan on add brass tubing for in th

I am building the same plane now with the CMK cockpit. I just fit the instrument panel the best I could. I put the front tip of it right on the edge of where the windscreen goes. Speaking of the CMK cockpit, I find the the seats set too low and the in no room for the control column, I'm not sure its something I did, or a mistake on CMK's part

From what I have seen, you have to add two small handles (one on each end), Also you need to fill in the fueling port and scribe in a door.

If you can find someone with extras, the napalm tanks on Monogram's A-37 can be used, I do believe

Although I ordered my models,I couldn't have them till today. So here is what I got: 2 Airfix 48h scale B-57s with a CMK Cockpit and Eduards photo ecth Hobby Boss 48th A-7K Encore A-37 Italeri XB-70 Ibex T-6 Texan II Special Hobbies T-2 Buckeye Revell Germany Learjet C-21 Academy T-50 Golden Eagle And although it didn't get here for Christmas I have a Hobby Boss M1070 on the way. and I got a couple of decal sheets to go with the B-57s and he A-7K. Yes I got a lot of models, but it replaces some of the models I lost in the tornado last April. So what did everyone else get?

I can't belive that no one has commented on this, I know I would like one, and who knows maybe there is 48th scale B-66 in the works

I got some early which were: Ibex T-6 Texan II 2 Airfix 48th scale B-57s with CMK cockpits and Eduards photo etch Academy 48th scale T-50 and tomorrow I will be getting Hobby Boss's 48th scale A-7K Encores A-37 Iterlari's XB-70 And there is one more that I am getting but it won't make it here for Christmas Hobby Boss M1070, THIS is going to be an Epic kit

Well, this is a great kit, I am decaling it now, and there are lots of them for such a small plane. The fit is great,I hardly had to use any filler. The kit also comes with both compressed and uncompressed landing gear which is a first I've seen in a kit. Bottom line, go out and get one, too bad the USAF don't have these

My photo here Not the best photo, But I have to work with what I have. And yes the decals are Cartograf. It looks like it will be a fun kit to build, nice panel lines, great cockpit detail and the decals leave you only have to paint it white and the black canopy frames. I'm going to look forward to building this after I finish my 48th t-2 Buckeye

OH I forgot to mention , this is the South Korean T-50 trainer, not the new Russian T-50

I just got mine in today, looks good, I have a couploe of planes to finish then I will start on it. Is any else building one?

What to do , what to do, I want to build this plane in the basic black scheme, But I'm not sure about how to weather it or do panel lines on it, I want to do more then paint it gloss black and slap the decals on it then glosscoat it,there should be away to make this paint scheme look less toy like

Pink can be manly, but back to Kerri, I think something is wrong with me if all I could think of is models while watching her

There is something that just isn't right in that photo.

It looks nice, but not nice enough at that price, IF I decide to build a 72nd scale 747 I would go with the AIM kit
