Very nice!Colin do,you have any photos of 188736? In particular the pilots name area and and any other markings unique to that airframe?I'm trying to settle on one airframe to model in the standard colors. I do like the cougar on the LEX fences too. Thanks kindly.Sean -
Guys, I'm hoping I can get some assistance here. I'm currently building a 1/7 scale flying model of the F-18 Hornet. It's progressing quite well and should be a really nice model. So, I'm aiming to make it into a CF-18A version of the hornet and while I do like all the demo schemes, I really just want to finish it in the standard stock 'air superiority grey' colors. To help me get the colors accurate and the correct collection of antennas etc, I'm at the point where I really need to settle on a specific S/N. So I need some assistance finding a good collection of photos of a single air

Here is a video of the build.

It can now be called an airplane, it's flown!

And one with me so you can see the size. It's 1/7 scale.

Well after starting the F-104 at the beginning of the year I put it aside for other projects and to spend the summer flying. At the end of September I got motivated and finished off the F-104 by painting, weathering, and installing all the equipment. It's now ready for its first flights. I'll see if I can get some photos uploaded.....

Guys, looking for some good audio book recomendations. I've listened to robin olds book a couple times and its great. Something along those lines, but not opposed to a Tom Clancy recommendation either. Thanks!

Hoping someone can assist. I'm looking for more information and photos of the ROCAF Starfighters in natural metal. Most pics I can find show them painted in ADC Grey (FS16473). I'm building one in 1/5 scale (yes, a flying version) and want to do a natural metal version from this country. I did find some black and white photos of the two serial numbers that are of particular interest, but due to the lack of national markings I wonder if they are fresh from that factory photos? I did some research on this and learned that the Taiwanese Air Force wrote history by operating more versions

I'm still some time away from paint but making progress.I'll post some pics when I get to that stage. In the meantime, here is a video clip of me flying my last F-104.This one is from the same design.http://youtu.be/9xHMErD7LP4

Thanks Scottdhldr!I found a listing for Revell 100ml colour mix enamel oil synthetic resin paint thinner, 39612. Is that the one? How much do you typically thin the xtracolor paint through a typ airbrush? Thx

Thanks everyone for the input to this question! Order submitted for roll models. Can I use testors airbrush thinner to thin and spray the xtracolor enamels? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thanks Jerry, that's good news. Tomas, thanks for the confirmation on colors. Can you also identify the dayglo red color often found on the tanks? Thanks!
