  1. Thank you Supertom for doing that for me. looking forward to it. Kind regards
  2. Thank you mumbles but that is the pic I found initially that reminded me of the kit. A high res scan would be fabulous. Regards
  3. Hi all: I remember this kit from my childhood and wonder if a kind person would email me a high res scan of the boxart and the colour views That will be really appreciated. Regards f16viperman@gmail.com
  4. Thank you South Viper for the info you posted. This is my first project in 30 years and am not very experienced. Based on advice from a very kind expert modeler in the UK, I bought a Badger 200-3 airbrush that should arrive from the USA next week, and will be using it to paint the model. re: gloss levels: I have noticed that the white and blue camouflaged plane has satin finish, i.e it is not not gloss. I have mixed Flat white with a dash of tan, and 2 x gloss blue + 1 x flat white and the blue colour came out perfect. So I think I got the colours right. See my previous post for colour n
  5. Unfortunately the H323 appears to be slightly too dark and need to add some pure white to it to make it lighter. I put a dash of H321 Light brown to white colour and think got the right off-white. Now I just need to mix enough paint for a couple of models. Do you know if both blue and white colours are matt or gloss or a combination. I need some advice; I am going to use a brush to paint the camouflage scheme an wonder if it is better to paint the whole plane white first and then paint the blue sections, or just paint the different sections independently, i.e, blue not on top of the white
  6. Thanks SouthViper, I am going to try the same by adding a drop of Gunze H321 light brown to the Tamiya white paint and compare the shading against the gloss white colour. I will also try the gunze h323 Light blue colour and see what it looks like. Regards
  7. Thanks for your answers gents. Andre, would it be possible to email me a good scan of the Hasegawa sheet please. About the drop of blue, would it produce a greyish colour or a very light blue. Jennings, I agree that the colour is off-white (slight cream shade) Do you know how this shade can this be achieved. I chose Humbrol enamel HU47 Light Blue/ Aircraft blue as blue paint. Regards
  8. Hi all: This is my first post in this forum. I want to paint a model of the second prototype in the cloud scheme camouflage, and just found out that the white colour used is the "Wimblendon White" used for the Ford Mustang car. Do you know the FS or colour name in the humbrol, tamiya or mr colour ranges. Acrylic or enamel. Also, did you know that the second prototype had a fourth camouflage scheme of two grey colours (not the grey ghost scheme) including one upper and one lower grey colour. The bottom was lighter than the top one. Does anyone have any photographs of it. Kind regards
