As far as I can tell this is exactly the same product we have used in the past; the one canopy I have dipped so far with the new bottle came out crystal clear (but see below). They also make a separate product with a very similar name and packaging intended for wood floors. Again, the fine print: ""Premium finish f

  10. This is the sort of thinking that produced the execrable Robert Downey Jr "Sherlock Holmes Action Hero" movies. "Kids today don't want to see a bunch of boring old dudes standing around in drawing rooms talking -- they want ACTION!!! THINGS GOING BOOM!!!" Ironically enough, one of the stars of the new Trek movie (Benedict Cumberbatch) starred in a tv reboot of Sherlock Holmes that proved it was possible to make classic literary characters appealing to modern viewers without completely abandoning the things that made said characters interesting in the first place.
  11. How about if at the end of the season the Packers wind up missing the playoffs by one game? Or say they do make it, but wind up playing a playoff game @ Seattle because the Hawks hold the head to head tiebreaker? Would you still be telling the team and their fans to "quit crying?"
  12. Of course the real refs are going to miss some calls. They're human beings. The question is will they miss calls at the same rate as the hopelessly underqualified replacements did? I very much doubt that they will.
  13. Here's an excellent write up on this topic from ProFootballTalk.com The NFL’s adroitly-drafted statement regarding the Monday night debacle in Seattle glosses over the most important question presented by the play. What if Packers safety M.D. Jenning gained control of the ball before Golden Tate? As we address that question, keep in mind the difference between “control†and “possession.†“When the players hit the ground in the end zone, the officials determined that both [seahawks receiver Golden] Tate and Jennings had possession of the ball,†the league’s statement explains. â
  14. The Brady tuck rule non-fumble and the Austin/Cromartie play from the opening week of the 2011 season were both fundamentally different from what we saw last Monday night. In both instances the rules as written were correctly enforced. That was not the case in the GB/SEA game. Cromartie has better position, Austin reaches around him as the ball arrives. Both players get two hands on the ball at the same time; neither establishes clear control before the other. They fight for the ball and go to the ground in the EZ with simultaneous possession (Note: Collinsworth was incorrect when he sta
  15. The kits in question are mostly 1/48 scale. http://www.pegasushobbies.net/catalog/index.php?cPath=7_19 Imho the Mustang, Hurricane and Emil kits are the best of the lot; the Spit s/b avoided (it just looks "off" somehow).
  16. With all due respect to the AM version, this kit is an absolute must have for me. Can't hardly wait...
