  1. Really a fantastic job so far! But I can't see your blog... It doesn't work... Would it be possible to post the pictures here in colour, too! That would be just great!
  2. Naaaaa! When I look at the astonishing job you do with your 1/48 Hobby Boss tomcat, I'm sure that you're able to do exactly the same to a 1/144 tomcat! <_< By the way: Any news about your 1/48 build?
  3. Just great! on some pictures it's nearly impossible to think that the F-18 are just in 1/144! Really, really great what you're doing! Can't wait to see more!
  4. Thanks for the update! I think your big Tomcat is coming together very well and I like the colourful painting very much! :) And about the brother: I didn't get it, are you building to HB Tomcats at the same time? Or is the counterpart from Hasegawa? The main landing gear looks like it's so... ;) Can't wait to see the finished turkey!
  5. It's stunning what you can do with a simple italeri-kit if your really good! The weathering is outstanding and the Aires Exhausts are looking excellent. I've got to get some for my Hasegawa kittys... it's a shame that they are so expensive... Thanks for the pictures!
  6. I think it's really great what you do with your little Eagle! Especially the bare metal areas around the Exhausts are beautyful done! I think I must switch to alclad colours to for this work... Very nice, thank you very much for showing!
  7. @ Ex-Birdgunner, sadchevy, Dirkpitt, Greygost & Holmes: Thank you very very much! It means a lot to me that you like my work. And I hope you will like stage 2 of my tomcat journey in the scale 1:72, too. As you can see on the pictures below, I've got a FEW more kittys to build... *hrrm* In front of the kits are my three little turkeys united: Hope you will stay tuned! I hope I can manage to start the next three tromcats in the next few days... :P
  8. One of the best hornet-models I#ve ever seen - maybe THE best. ;) Astonishing model building, I wish I would be as good as you. Especially the weathering around the cockpit floores me, it looks so real! Great work, can't wait for updates! :)
  9. Thanks Denis! :-) You're right, this scale is a pain in the ***! But good practise for my bigger tomcats that will follow soon! ;)
  10. I'm a tomcat-guy, but your hornet looks very, very good! Congratulations to your outstanding weathering! The avionik looks very good , too! Thanks for sharing
  11. Okay, because of your positive feedback I decided to finish Victory 103 - and do it as best as I could... :) I've got to put a few missiles on the little kitty in a while, but for now I declare it finished! ;) Here are some pictures for you: Grumman F-14B Tomcat "VF-103 Jolly Rogers" from Revell in scale 1/144 with decals from Fightertown One detail shot.. it doesn't look to great, I now But to remind you: It's 1/144... to compare the size: VF-103 with an ordinary lighter: and a q-tip:
  12. Very nice indeed! The Hobby Boss Tomcat is looking very, very good. I'd like to do a comparison build this year with the Hasegawa kit... Your paint sceme is unusual - but very attractive! Thanks for sharing! Can't wait to see the finished bird! :D
  13. Thank you very much again... Brian, It could be that I soon will need another decal sheet of VF-103 in 1/144... because I've got big problems with my last "Jolly Rogers" tomcat... Like I wrote, the flat coat from gunze (rattle can) turned out blue on the upperside of the fuselage... I think I took to much of it. And that's why the Tomcat that should be the masterpiece is now the worst... :) Here you see it for yourself (already partially stripped of the blue-ish paint) So I started my rescue mission: After painting with Gunze 308, dark wash and another layer of flat coat (next to
  14. Hi Brian! Thank you very much! Yes, I'm using your decals - and the are very good! Unfortunately I made a mistake with the flat coat on the VF-103... It turned out slightly blue, no idea why), so tomorrow I've got to airbrush the upper side of my VF-103 Tomcat new... *grrrrr* But I can proudly present you a few pictures of my finished Black Bunny F-14: And here you can clearly see that size doesn't matter: My F-14 with an ordinary lighter to compare the size:
  15. My little Black bunny is nearly finished: Look for yourself:
