  1. Hey Fasteagle- I ended up Picking up one of these kits from a show and mine is missing the instructions and decals - Everything Else is there and bagged including the two canopies and all the resin. I paid $20 if you want it for that. Between the two kits (as long as you don't jack up the canopy - fingers crossed) you would have everything to build two options I think - let me know in IM
  2. Glynn - I just saw your response today. I just wanted to double check, I will cut out the decals for: Aztec Models 72-051 Sky Guardians - F-7NM Bangladesh option from my sheet and copy the instructions. You will do the same for me from your Caracal sheet Black Sheep show option?
  3. I'm a small seller on eBay and I always appreciate when buyers give me a chance to make it right when something goes wrong. You have done exactly that .... given the seller the chance to make it right. Next step is exactly as lockheed2004 says above, submit a request for refund and select "goods arrived damaged". Ebay will give the seller a period of time to respond and then give you the refund if they dont take care of it on their own. Hope you are able to find what you are after elsewhere.
  4. I actually picked up a collection recently that has a bagged YF-12 kit- all the inner bags but no box. Let me check it over tonight. Not sure if instructions of decals are present. I'll sort out a fair price and take some photos
  5. Glynn - I have Aztec Models 72-051 Sky Guardians - F-7NM Bangladesh option - I am only using the US version from this sheet. I would like to trade for Caracal Decals 72080 AV-8B Harrier II plus - VMA-214 "Black Sheep" Air show display (One complete set of stencils) if that works for you.
  6. I have a bagged Monogram Kit if that helps your cause- PM me
  7. I was able to purchase a replacement from Italeri. You have to use the italeri kit number (The AMT kit and Italeri kits are the same molds) when making the request. I think it cost me $14 ...
  8. I just picked up a collection of kits where I think I have an extra sheet of these decals- I will be posting it all on eBay this weekend, if interested in the sheet let me know and we can just make it work here.
  9. No worries! This was just too easy of a replacement to not get in line! Good Luck with your build!
  10. Dutch - I don't mean to glom on to Chris's post - But I was looking for these very decals this weekend as my kit looks like they will crack and craze- looking for a back-up (the blue angels part) If Chris does not take these- and you would be wiling to sell them to me- please let me know!
  11. I don't see any email in your post- but I have these parts to sell you. PM me
  12. If you are up in the San Fernando Valley (northern part of Los Angeles) there is also Smith Brothers Hobbies in Reseda. https://www.smithbrothershobbycenter.com/ Last time I was in there they have several collections of older kits mixed in with new release items. Burbank House of Hobbies probably has the better selection of new release items I have never been to - but always wanted to go check out Brookhurst! Some of my favorite items in my collection have Brookhurst price tags on them so I figure it must be full of great stuff! lol
  13. There are also times where the test or training aircraft will fly with some panels that have fasteners and seams exposed as it is not critical to have everything buttered up for what they are doing. Or they may need to be in and out of a certain bay for other reasons so they leave the coatings unfinished for a time. I have seen this on F-22, F-35 & B-2.
  14. I also have the early Academy decals mentioned above by Habu 2 that you are welcome to along with the elements of the Caracal sheet I mentioned ... but if Rod D has this entire sheet for you I think that would your best bet! Either way, let me know if you need what I have to offer! Anything other than the Hasegawa decals will be a win for you!
  15. From a quick glance at the sheet on the Caracal website, there are many markings common to the CCV and the YF-16 on the sheet as they are both aircraft "567". I would be able to give up the "CCV" tail markings and the "Research" script and badges, but not any of the common markings and more importantly .... the white tail code 01567 that you will need. Not sure where else you would find decent decals of the RW&B F-16 common markings? Let me know what you think- if interested we can work out a deal. No worries if this does not work for you-
  16. I'm planning on doing the AFTI F-16 and the YF-16 from the sheet. Let me take a look tonight or tomorrow and make certain I can get you that portion from the sheet without loosing any markings I will need. I still need to find the canards and spine to build the AFTI.
  17. Hey Dutch! I may be able to help- I recently bought a bagged Revell KC-10 Kit at a show for $10. I was so excited to find it that I really should have checked it better- Fuselage and some parts are warped from heat exposure- not useable. the sprue that has all of the IFR stuff is warped as well but I think that will be salvageable. I am debating scarfing the KC-10 aft section to an old DC-10 kit, but who am I kidding. Message me if you are interested to see photos, If interested. - Mike
  18. Hello! I have a 1/72 Testors B-2A Stealth Bomber kit that I have discovered is missing the windscreen. If anybody has one- even if from a junked / painted kit I would love to purchase it from you. On the other hand- If there is somebody out there that could use some parts from this kit for something they have going on I would be willing to sell or trade it as well. Thanks for your consideration!
  19. LOL! I have to forward this to Geoff- He will get a good cackle! It was most definitely a labor of love for him! If you didn't already know ... the Air Force legends #215 Boeing B-50 book is also by Geoff. It was recently reprinted in limited numbers so you can find it new for around $40-50 rather than the $80-100 on the secondary market.
  20. The new Air Force Legends #224 book - North American B-45 Tornado by Geoff Hayes has thorough information on all of the different weapons bay configurations for all of the auxiliary fuel tanks / conventional and Atomic Weapons. I haven't seen anything like it out on the interwebs. I know it is a bit pricey- but an excellent book! Full disclosure: Geoff is my friend and I helped proofread / edit the book- I have read it from cover to cover but do not yet have my own copy! haha!
  21. If you are moving any closer to the Ogden area we have started the NUSMA meetings back up with a great group of guys!
