  1. Thanks Chippy- I am planning on the RAF Museum so I will likely see the London Hanants store, see if I cant get to Lowesoft. If I get the time I may be near AJ Aviation one of our days so I appreciate the heads up on that. I plan to try and see both the RAF museum in London and the other one in Cosford. It looks like the one at Cosford has more of the flight test aircraft that interest me. Do you mind if I message you with a few more questions?
  2. Making a trip to England this summer- Got Duxford and Hannants on the radar, is there anything else aircraft / hobby related I should know about? Thanks in advance for any advice!
  3. I have some partial sheets that I wanted to see if anyone could use- $2.50 shipped for first one, add a buck-fiddy for any added to the envelope. Will send photos on request 1/72 Two Bobs 72-017 Mountain Home Gunfighters 1/72 Superscale 72-500 F-105's 1/72 Superscale 72-348 A-7B Corsair II 1/72 Microscale 72-297 F-16 Prototypes 1/48 Microscale 48-230 Shaw F-16's 1/48 Microscale 48-191 Low Vis F/A-18A's USN USMC
  4. I was able to purchase one from Italeri (who now produces that kit). Think it was around $7.50 when all was said and done. Took several weeks to get.
  5. I could see about moulding mine in clay and casting resin copies-
  6. I have one last Wolfpack decal that I want, The 4th FS F-16CG (Hill AFB) from the sheet 72-078 Moody Blues. Willing to buy that section, or trade for it with any of the below. Also willing to purchase and split that sheet if somebody is interested in doing that! I have several Wolfpack sheets that I will only be using 1 or two of the aircraft off of the sheet. Looking for buyers that would like to purchase the remainer of the sheet. These are the sheets and the aircraft I am taking from that sheet. I will keep a copy of the instructions and send the originals and bag with the decals. 72
  7. The one shop that was there forever just closed last year. Smith Bothers Hobbies. Thier store in Reseda / Northridge (about 1 hr. away) is still open I believe.
  8. There are a lot of sites out there for aircraft wreckhunting (my second hobby) some websites of some of my friends are as follows: Pat Macha- (Southern California)- http://www.aircraftwrecks.com/ Pete Merlin and Tony Moore (Edwards AFB area and Area 51 stuff)- http://www.thexhunters.com/ Chris Baird- (Arizona Crashes)- http://www.arizonawrecks.com/ Criag Fuller- (AZ, CA, NV, ID, UT, NM) - http://www.aviationarchaeology.com/ These are just the ones that I frequent, there are many, many more......
  9. I am selling most of my collection and I have the U-2 decals you are looking for separate from the sheet. I can send them to you for $6.50 if you would like them.
  10. I have the Revell kit unbuilt and a mostly built Frog kit. I will send pm with contact info.
  11. Yes it is- If you are interested I will drop the price to $35. That is a little less than what I bought it for originally, and lot less than the boxed ones are going for now!
  12. Anyone out there interested in a 1/18 F-104G? It is the Grey Luftwaffe version. I have had this displayed since new in my den. It is dusty but complete. The main landing gear has sagged some due to being displayed on the gear. I had good intentions of re-building this into a super cool desk model USAF version in flight. I need to pass it on. Nothing wrong with it currently other than the gear. Asking $40 + postage (likely around 5lbs from 84075 if you want to estimate that). Would prefer paypal and USA shipping only. Please send reply through ARC messanger. Thanks!
  13. I had that sheet for sale on Ebay a while back- I'm pretty sure I did not sell it. Let me check when I get home tonight, I would just sell the sheet if I have it. PM me if interested.
  14. My stuff got here quick and safe as well! Thanks!
  15. What option are you looking for from this sheet? I have it and was going to use the Lockheed Demo portion of it, but not so sure any more.
  16. On the X-35's the A & B models were the same airframe. The C (Navy variant) had larger flight control surfaces. I'm not terribly familiar with the F-35 family but it would'nt surprise me.
