  1. Hi there, I've been reading your previous posts in this thread and it really seems to me you must have stumbled upon a bad mold or something. Should you want a replacement, don't hesitate to contact me through the Support section or by email, or PM me here on ARC. I will kindly process your request.
  2. Cockpit for BIS D version is part of the current kit - 8232 MiG-21BIS 1/48 (plastic parts + some PE details). We don't intend doing Brassin details for Lancer, nor the BIS D version...
  3. Aaaaand, released: Brassin Sets for MiG-21BIS - Martin Ferkl's short post on upcoming Brassin sets for the new MiG-21BIS, with several render images. Link to article So what do you think? Crisp? Lame? Unreal? Looking forward to your replies guys! Btw. it's more likely you'll get an answer from different person than me(Vladimir Sulc, Martin Ferkl) using the comments on Eduard Blog. So if you have any really important questions (are there any different?:) ), make them worth;) I'm not trying to pull discussion away from this board or anything similar. It's just that I'm the only one who doe
  4. I meant Brassin products are not output of 3D printer(s). Of course they are completely made utilizing CAD technologies. However the final production process in not based on 3D printing tech. IMHO, it will take some time before this tech is able to produce details we'd like to deliver... Btw. we're just about to release new article on Eduard Blog - Brassin Sets for MiG-21BIS. Stay tuned for the content, it will be published, hopefully, during today.
  5. Yes, we do have different pricing for different markets. It depends on your location.
  6. Yep Berkut, Gabor is right. Brassin sets do not have anything in common with 3D printers. They are all casted. I do know what effect/rippling you are reffering to, but I have no clue why this happens from time to time. Will ask though. Regarding the 3D printers - this technology is not yet on such level so it could be used within our manufacturing. Resolution quality, production time, these are the factors which makes casted resin parts win over 3D printers. For now.... ;)
  7. Otto, Overtrees is our bare bone MiG-21BIS. See here: http://www.eduard.com/store/Eduard/Plastic-kits/Other/Aircraft/1-48/MiG-21BIS-OVERTREES-1-48.html Basically, it's the ProfiPACK version without decals and instructions. You will find all what you need to build a complete BIS - sprues, PE details, mask. This kit is available for limited time only, only at Eduard Store.
  8. Hey Pollie, I'm not sure where did this error happen. We usually do note that the decals are made in Italy. Guess we'd somehow forgotten this time... I can assure you that the main decal sheet is made by Cartograf in Italy. The stencil decal sheet is printed by us.
  9. Awesome build man! It's pleasure to see the kit in totally different markings than offered in-box. Could you share these with our fans on Eduard's Facebook? (https://www.facebook.com/EduardCompany)?
  10. See the image update on our latest BIS post on Eduard Blog (at the bottom of the post): http://www.eduard.com/blog/mig-21bis-gabors-nose-photos/ We've published an image from our 3d software showing the difference between those two noses.
  11. Sorry guys for small photos on Eduard Blog. Our intention is to implement whole gallery system, which will allow us to show pictures in bigger sizes (something like on FB but bigger). We will be installing this plugin shortly for your convenience.
  12. I will comment on this as on Facebook: Some of our Finnish friends have drawn our attention to this in the beginning of this project. Their point was that Russian manuals for these machines mention "BIS" not "bis", so we kinda sticked to that. We do know and understand the origins of this word, which actually means "second" in Italian language. From what I can see on the forums and www generally, modelers tend to use both versions. We picked BIS;)
  13. We're currently preparing another article about our MiG-21BIS. This one is written by Vladimir Sulc himself and will show you photos of the first-ever-built MiG-21BIS. Please stay tuned to our websites until then...
  14. That is highly improbable. You see, the Bf 109E canopy issue was an actual and real error of ours. We had admitted and fixed it, for free. We've invested lot of time into research of the BIS and that is why we're absolutely convinced of "our" truth. It's also why you shouldn't expect any fixes for this kit in the future. There will be none, simply because there is nothing to fix. I believe our point of view on this won't change over time. We've done the mistake once, don't want to repeat it, trust me:)
