  1. "Don't put off to tomorrow what you can do today''. Some wise man said that!
  2. No tile decals are included. The recessed tiles line were filled in with an ink technical pen I use to fill in panel lines. Like I said in the opening post I over did it with the tile panel lines. But after so much time I just called it good enough and let it be.
  3. Yeah, the astronaut is a small guy! I glued him down to the head of a thumb tack just so I wouldn't lose him.
  4. I used the Indycals AMT Man in Space decal set. I also used some of the decals from the AMT set.
  5. The kit itself is fine; no major issues. Typical filing here and there. I had fun building it.
  6. 1/200 scale "Man in Space" rocket set with Lindberg 1/200 Space Shuttle. The 1/200 scale SR-71 is a metal kit (there for scale). My friend 3D printed the Apollo astronaut. This set nearly destroyed me. You're looking at almost a decade of on/off work. I used an after market decal set for the rockets. All of the photographic roll patterns were masked and painted by hand. The Space Shuttle SRB paint job nearly put me in a padded cell. The Shuttle came out OK but I over did it with the upper tile markings. It's not perfect but it is a cool looking display.
  7. I'm working on my 1/200 Man-in-Space Saturn V and was hoping that someone has an image or instructions that show the proper stage alignment for the rocket? I've tried some books at the library and have looked at images online but it is hard to discern alignment between the stages. Any help will be greatly appreciated! ken
  8. Can anyone provide a screenshot of the decal placement sheet for the 1/200 Lindberg Space Shuttle with booster kit? I picked up an open box but the decal placement sheet was not provided. Thanks
  9. I bought this kit for my nephew's birthday and he asked me to build it with him (he's six). The kit builds up nice but it looked very boring as is. I told my nephew I would take it home and weather it up for him. There is a nice amount of detail on the kit and the weathering really makes it pop. I left the paint job as is out of the box. I didn't want to take the time to re-paint and I don't think the nephew really cares. He's happy and that's all that really matters....
  10. Wow, what an incredible build! BTW, I love it with the gear up....
  11. Nice build! Too bad the steatlh fighter did not turn out this way. Looks wise, I was a tad disappointed when the F-117 was revealed. Oh well....
  12. Great build. Love the paint scheme!
  13. Wow, what an amazing job!!!
