During Iran/Irak wars, IRIAF pilots always tried to bring back the planes the best they could, even the badly damaged ones so they could use them for spare parts due to US sanctions after 1979. If i'm not mistaken, Iran is under many U.N sanctions and cannot buy planes, tanks and many other stuff. So i guess this Fencer crew tried until the last moment to save this plane.

Yeah sorry, it seems to be an old vid (plane crashed April 14th 2008) Berkut From what i've read, it seems the throlle was jammed. one of the engine damaged and the other pushing hard wit pilot unable to control this one.

Seems it had a prob... But i'm a bit amazed by the pilots ejecting few seconds after the fire balls.

Just a little question guys, I'm trying to make some seatbelts with a photoetched sheet. what kind of glue do you use to fixe PE?

I'll use a Fujimi 1/72 AH-1J and Hi Decals (thanks Sebastijan for the link) I 've been looking for two AGM-65 Mavericks and someone on a french forum have them I just hope it won't look too bad and ridiculous :huh: I'll post pics soon (once i'm done with the cockpit)

Thanks for the links Sebastijan! didn't know Hi Decals made cobra decals but only aircraft (have 1/48 F4-E) i'm a beginner, may i ask help and tips during the build?

here's a kit done in 6 hours.... i used the Heller 1/72 kit and was so disappointed i just glued and painted. I feel i got scammed (17€90 for this....while i could have a fujimi F-18 for 10€) I'm gonna make an other F1 with the same decals but i still don't know where to find a decent one. 1/48 ESCI/Italeri is not much better .... maybe a hasegawa in 1/72 anyway, here's the pics. i just hope it don't look that bad ;)

Hello guys. i think this may be interesting or helpfull for people who use Lifecolor. I scanned some parts of their catalogue with the color names and ref (FS etc) Personnaly i love Lifecolor but i really hope some day they'll stop selling some of their colors in "pack only". i'm looking for some of these paint but certainly not ready to spend 15 or 30€ for a pack when i only need one color. anyway, here are the scans. (hope they are fine)
