  1. Very nice. i like the riveting. I did not know they were still sporting the SFRJ markings in 92, I thought they switched to Pepsi's in 91. But now I guess that was in 92... Anyway great MiG, I can't get enough of yours... cheers, Vasko
  2. It would also be difficult to attach the exhaust pipes without the engine in place. It is necessary to put it in and to trim it to close the cowling. Other than this IMHO the kit is great...
  3. Thanks for your comments, I'm very glad you like it. Steven I scribed the line across the radom, although there is no need, barely visible...The part I disliked correcting the most was the dual dampers by the hinges on the vertical rudder which had to be removed- filled with plastic and putty +sanded & scribed. Also take caution with the wings assembly - I don't like how they move, I must have placed something wrong inside?! Yes Ryan, the decals are Iraqi fighters by Lindenhill
  4. It looks great. Nice job with the nose...I'd love to have some Syrian decals in 48th scale, such rare subjects... cheers
  5. Hi This is an Iraqi MiG-23MS from the Trumpeter M Kit with the Aires cockpit. The decals are by Lindenhill Please check for more info and pics MY BLOG thanks for watching
  6. Thank you for this great GB and everyone for participating and showing their builds. I really enjoyed it.
  7. Thank you all for your answers. You've been very helpful..
  8. Hey guys, I need some help on Eurofighter armament. I'd like to know what would be the most probable full loadout on Spanish single seater. And if not full what is the most common one they sport around. thanks in advance
  9. Very nice Dragan, impressive collection, planes with markings totally the way I like.
  10. Thanks for the compliments. I have no time to take any new photos so I posted the existing ones to display case. Anyway, there were no big differences made... cheers
  11. 1:48 Eduard + Berna Decals MiG-21MF, Nigerian AF, 1975
  12. Check this site for more... My link I don't know how to use search function but if you check all pages you'll find many photos of 21s with communist style roundels..
  13. In AMK kit there is a pair of only one type of FTs, with two different options for the fin part to choose but the length of the tanks is the same in each case. The combined length is roughly 132mm and 14mm in diameter. The distance from the front mounting hole to the rear of the tank is 61mm and the rear one is 39 from the end of the fin.
  14. What about the AMK kit tanks? I have it and can measure it if anyone thinks it's worth it...
  15. Thanks guys. I'm glad you like it. I hope I'll soon have some new photos for the gallery.
  16. Awesome model, fantastic alu finish...Thanks for the "paint table", it is very useful...
  17. Almost, almost done, still some silvering to deal with, some more details and that's it. This it how it looks by now... Please, feel free to comment, criticize or whatever...
  18. Thanks. It's painted with a mix of Tamiya desert yellow and dark yellow for the sand color and the green one is tamiya dark green with a mix of field gray -which is actually green. I almost never buy exact colors by guidelines, I prefer mixing the ones I have and use paints by visual references.. Here's the follow up. Decals placed and faded, couple of protective coats applied, weathering done, landing gear assembled, ej. seat is done,...still some detailing and wiring to do. Currently working on UB-16s and S-24s
  19. topside painted and roundels placed...
  20. Some progress has been made, some scratchbuilding partially seen here, prepared for priming and pre shading... and after some painting. I used Tamiya paint as primer and AKAN for the underside blue... The topside camo still has to come... cheers
  21. Thank you for your input guys, helps a lot. I'm thinking of making the F-15D #957, looks like an interesting subject.
  22. I have some questions for the eagleheads regarding the mentioned kit. It is an Academy plastic F-15E without the updated sprues for the OIF, which actually makes it an F-15D (if I'm correct?). Without those pylons/weapon sprues I presume I could make the Israeli D but I'm not sure about the CFT, did they carry those and what about the CFT pylons. Do IAF D's have bulged gear doors like the E? What else would I need to be careful about if I'd wanna make that Israeli D? I also heard they had black painted cockpits. My F-15 knowledge is weak so thanks in advance.
  23. I really wouldn't know. I thought this is a standard USAF insignia from July '43 to the end of WWII. I presume you mean the roundel with the red dot in the center of the white star? I haven't seen the actual photo of the plane but the ones from the same squadron had the same insignia. Maybe the description should stand USAF instead of USAAC...Thanks for bringing that up, I'd really like to know how is so. My knowledge on the US markings is weak. And of course thanks for your comment.
  24. Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I absolutely agree, some clear parts are horrible, in this case they just don't fit well in the open position...
