  1. Hi Nate, that's just the sort of thing I'm looking for Many thanks Mike
  2. Hi Jake,, thanks again for your kind response. I'm not really over-thinking it, my problem is that I don't know what one would find in a typical Hangar or what equipment would be lying around. I'm retired now but I'm from a background of office work so these areas are really unknown to me. What is standard for others is really new to me and therefore I would be grateful for any visual help with what is being described. Hope you can understand my predicament (Major Tom has kindly sent me some images of an engine mount). Thanks Mike
  3. Hi Jake, thanks for your response, however I am looking for something more tangible - a photo, drawing or some plan in order that I can construct a model of one cheers Mike
  4. Hi everyone, I am hoping to build a Dak with an engine removed and placed in an engine cradle but can't find any details of what these cradles look like. Can anyone help with either images or plans of such and item? Also any views of typical ladders, gantries etc., which would be used during a maintenance scene such as this? Thanks Mike
  5. Received this from HLJ this morning: "HLJ and the Sendai Earthquake As many of our customers are well aware, on March 11, Japan suffered one of the largest earthquakes in recorded history, with the ensuing tsunamis causing even more catastrophic damage. Our hearts go out to those suffering in the hardest hit regions. We've posted an account of what happened at HLJ, with photos, HERE. We're also using this page as a bulletin board for updates about how the quake is affecting our service. We were very lucky; although we had a pretty rough shaking that scrambled the contents of our offices
  6. I can get onto the Home page of Britmodeller now but I can't get the Forum.
