Hello Fred, have I missed something or is Eastern back? Are you building yours gear-up? The reason I ask is I am searching for the gear legs for the Poseidon. I recently acquired the Welsh mixed media kit which had the flaw of the gear legs being too short for the P-8, having been taken from their earlier 737 kit.

I am curious if anyone is building (has built/will build) the BPK Poseidon gear-up? Curt

Dutch I’m looking to do a straight P2V-7 P-2H. I have two of the starboard (right) side canopy parts. Curt

It’s an option for sure Dutch, but a pricey one as it seems they are quite scarce. I’m hoping someone did a Neptune conversion with a vac canopy and still has the original parts in the spares bin. This kit has been a bit of a lemon. It was missing a section of sprue with several parts which I was able to acquire through a great parts trade. The clear parts were in a baggie and I saw two halves bouncing around in the and thought I was good. When I took a closer look I realized they were the same side 🙄 Curt

Hi, noticed this old thread about Neptune conversions. I’ve got an old Hasegawa P2V-7 kit which for some reason only has two of the same canopy halves. Would anyone have the original canopy parts in their spares bin? Curt

Hi Roy, given that there has been no activity on this thread in a long time, I wonder if anything ever came of your conversion kit effort? Two years on and the Matchbox kit is still the only game in town. I'd like to add USCG version to my collection, but see the ole MB kit is fraught with errors. If you did come up with something to correct some of them, I 'd be interested. Curt
