  1. Never heard of tips wearing out? Is he using the tips like a pen? I've had my old 150 for years and used it for 2 years straight way back when - never had to replace anything.
  2. I tried to get a replacement from Dragon for Wing-Tech/Cyber-Hobby BF-109E3 I was building. A missing part and a huge bubble/occlusion right on the spar on the rudder. I opened a ticket with Dragon; then they said OK, send us the proof-of-purchase to forward@dragon-models.com --- email bounced because mailbox is full. I open another ticket, same response about the email, same bounceback. I'm not trying to "fix" the rudder without it looking terrible. Annoying.
  3. As everyone else has said 50:50 ratio, especially with the Iwata eclipse and its 0.35 needle. PSI can be airbrush independent, meaning some need more to atomize paint, Iwata's are great at lower pressures so the 15-20 is a good call. Also make sure everything is 'seated' properly. if the needle isn't seated against the nozzle properly the airbrush won't atomize the paint and you'll get a drippy/splatter result.
