Wanted: 1/32 F-14A Full Meal Deal

Ha mate. I have one with everything you can get by everyone and you are looking at about $700 worth of gear including the kit. Thanks but while very tempting for the b25 you could preaty much buy most of the above for the same amount it takes to fillup the box for the tomcat. We will not even talk about rivets and rescribe and the 12 months of frustrating but very enjoyable and rewarding time investing. that equals ($700 \ by 52 weeks to build) = $14 per week. makes it worth will to keep your stash and spend 14 per week to invest on the tomcat while you are building. ps flaps and slats -

So what we have is a base which is being made from MDF with the flight deck being scribed out and the catapult will be carved shortly, then filled and detailed with plasic card. I used textured paint with a grey pigment to make it easy to paint later on. In the photos I have my vfa-103 with the base colours painted and my ea-18g growler top view. photos of details to come on them. http://i1116.photobucket.com/albums/k568/emtomkat/DSC01302.jpg[/img] Only have completed base colours will be working on seats and extras soon. Work on covers and Edwards electronics at present. -

Yes, I totally agree with all comments. I have 12 tamyis and 8 trump tomcats. I can say that I waited for ever to get the trump tomcat thinking I wouldn't have to scratch build, describe, rivet and do new side intakes, (12 months to work on a tamiya to get the above to comp standard. Looking back was worth the time as I one first place, how ever anyone how has done the above to a tamiya and then has or is building a trump tomcat will agree that there is just as much work to do on the trump tomcat just in different areas, describe, filling in rivets, cockpit wheel wells changing rear engine

Thanks cairmsy, i have 2 display boxes 1500 x 550 each to hold 2 supers or tomcats 1/32 scale and the sit on top of 2 display cabs with hold 10 each of 1/32 scale aircraft. Other than that I will have to by larger display cases when I fill these. I have 55 1/32 jet still build, this is nothing compared to a friends collection which stands at 1/32 build of 83 and 309 still to build. Hay guys, thought I would post this, it is going to be a 1/32 scale vf-0b Macross zero. I have build the shell and the front profile for the cockpit. I was working on this during winter with some other projects. As everything I start to scratch build a manufacture brings out for sale before I finish. So I really love this aircraft front Hasagawa and really hope they are going to produce it in 1/48 or 1/32 scale. I would by 5 straight off the bat. Any one who loves tomcats will understand why Posting pics on a short time MAIN SHELL IS TACKED ON, i havent detailed or scribe

No neo they will not be as one manufacture has produced the equ who was not ment to do it in 1/32 scale now verlinden have produced theirs in the same scale. Looks fantastic and I will grab few of theirs. I love all things verlinden and I also love to scratch build one offs. The trolley and deck cleaner us getting produced through same manufacter, its to big for resin and pricing so they are making them in 1/48 ejection but as they lied to me they will more than likely produce them in 1/32 scale. Will not deal with manufactures anymore, I wii continue to scratch build and develope in thi -
WELL, if this helps you. I have 60 1/32 scale fighters ( a lot of tomcats and superhornets. and about 40 1/48 modrens. I know that that is not a lot, however i do a lot of scratch building for 1/32 usa decks. YOU NEEEEED A LOT OF ROOM. A frend has 80 1/32 built to this day (25 years of work and experiance and 309 still to build. yes 309 as of last thurday when he picked up a trumpeter stuka. great kit by the way. yes it is true and i have photos to show how much room you need to have this amount in 1/32. i will asking him if i can post some picks tomorrow. you will be shocked. The board is going to have an anti slip with welds in the right places and the catapult (3) with the main bubble. I practice a cement tecn which was using 2 320 sanding blocks and textured primer paint. stapming over the board while it set into the mdf board. (base coat) I will just this tec to make my cement look for my RAAF HORNET board. Need to chisle our the catapult and side oval maintance ports. you have all seen the catapults so you know what i mean. jusing this tec is great for priming MDF BOARD, then you grab some sand paper on the roughted edges and it gives you a differance c -
