  1. The sheets look GREAT! Any chance you'd consider printing them in 1/32 as well?
  2. It seems like a number of jets just the MB Mk. 16 ejection seat JF-17 Rafale EF-2000 I'm wondering how different is the seat for the JF-17 PK16LE from the EF-2000 one? Since I'm almost certain the seats in the 1/48 JF-17 kit look to be quite wrong Here's a good image of the PK16LE https://www.flickr.com/photos/131134491@N07/16383942187
  3. Looking at the picture of the J-10 does it look like the WS-10? Ah from Google: The Pakistan Air Force's (PAF) J-10CE multi-role fighter jets are powered by China's domestically developed Shenyang-Liming WS-10B Taihang turbofan engine, which is rated at 89.17kN dry thrust and 132kN with afterburner.
  4. Planning on building a PAF J-10C and was looking for aftermarket engine options. the 2 that I was able to find are: WS-10 https://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?item_no=FAB-48025 AL-31 https://www.ebay.com/itm/235812924334 Here's an image to help https://imgur.com/a/UYEiPkh https://imgur.com/a/H65z74H I'm wondering given the J-10CE used by the PAF which is the correct option...WS-10 or AL-31?
  5. I've come across some images of the AS-350 from the Pakistani army One thing I noticed has been the bulge on top of one of the pilots. And then in another case the FLIR pod on top of the same bulge. https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/11538018#modal-large-photo What might be a good starting point for the model and then being able to replicate the bulges?
  6. BTW would you recomment using the Airfix kit or the Hasegawa kit? I know the HSG kit is much older but wondering?
  7. AWESOME! So I plan on using the 1/48 Airfix kit to make the the Qatari SeaKing https://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?item_no=AF-11006 If you happen to have more references for the Qatari SeaKing camo that'd be GREAT! If you guys would be kind enough to help with this one as well: https://www.scramble.nl/military-news/former-qatar-westland-commandos-taken-on-charge How difficult would the conversion be for this kit: https://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?item_no=AF-11008 to a Qatari Sea King Also, any info on the yellow one here?
  8. Could someone shed some more light on this particular sea king seems like it has a 2 tone camo but finding it a bit difficult to get the model # as well are more detailed references https://imgur.com/a/HaRGlYV And also the structure on the side....is that for a winch or radar? Looks like it may be the Qatari one....but can't can't be sure; if so; any more detailed images on it?
  9. Interesting indeed Seems like the PAF may have painted one of their F-86s with nearly the same color! https://imgur.com/a/AC0nPtd
  10. could the same effect be achieved by mixing alclad with lacquer paints?
  11. Thanks! While we're on the subject; what color might be closest match to this? https://imgur.com/a/mySDDrW
  12. I'm trying to figure out some information on Pakistan Navy SeaKings Seems like they operate Sea King HAS.1 and Sea King HAS.5 variants I'm wondering what the differences are between the variants? Also, I can see in some cases the intake on top had a cover and others it doesn't...could someone explain that? Also, the tail rotor, I've seen a combination of both 5 and 6 blades...it was specific to the version or are those interchangeable?
  13. Has anyone tried ordering from: https://sealmodel.com/ Their prices are reasonable + they have a lot of the Mr. Color paint line I wrote to them but haven't heard back; not sure if they're still in business....anyone have any luck?
  14. Curious as to the reason behind coloring the wings and not the fuselage being bare metal?
  15. While we're on the subject of F-104s I'm curious if the wings for the A/Cs were painted white on top and light grey under or were they BMF?
  16. Yep...that looks close enough 🙂
  17. On a similar not; curious about the turquoise color as well...and what may be a close match?
  18. Most of the stuff that I've seen here is absolutely gorgeous! The issue is a lot of the fine detail is lost when using engines for example. The cover plates hide some of the most intricate detail
  19. found it...and you were correct https://www.wolf3dresinparts.at/
  20. would you happen to have a link to it?
  21. I recall there was a 3d producer of 1/32 and 1/48 EF-2000 pods and detail part which for the life of me, I cannot recall. Would anyone here remember who they were/are?

    Masks

I've been using a plotter and 810s stencil film to make masks for some planes https://www.orafol.com/en/americas/products/oramask-810s-stencil-film I've seen some people use yellow kabuki masks and wondering where to source that from for my plotter?
