  1. Awesome Skyshark - really unusual and cool.
  2. Beautiful Rafale! It looks great in this scheme, and I really like the in-flight presentation.
  3. You must be a surgeon of some sort!! Impressive work - I will be following it with interest.
  4. Thanks for opening the thread before I did it - I really like how proactive our community is : ). Unfortunately my latest batch of decals I planned for February are still being printed in your beautiful country, so my March releases are what I promised for February earlier. I will soon announce the next batch of decals I will be releasing in April (if everything goes according to plan)
  5. These are all in the production queue in various stages: some have been stalled because of a research gap (UH-1, P-47) or I have to work on the layout (B-57, OV-10D etc.). But I plan to release at least half of this list in 2024.
  6. David kindly shared his excellent builds of Kinetic Starfighters. Markings from CD48202 with the exception of "Really George", which I should do on a future sheet.
  7. Amazing Starfighter and F-82!! Thanks for sharing these - I have a bunch of photos of other excellent builds that you guys have e-mailed me, and will post some of them today.
  8. This is coming in the next couple of months - I allocated a product number for it years ago and it is time to finally do it.
  9. let’s do this - bring it on! You know the email addy.
  10. Yes but not so soon after the first part - it will be coming sometime in the second half of the year.
  11. I still don’t have the decals - Cartograf seems to be taking a bit longer than usual, so I expect to start selling the decals in March.
  12. Excellent Phantom! Always great to see these colorful Edwards jets. Looking forward to seeing it! I hope it has four of those J79s.
  13. I had already drawn artwork for two of these - and have been working on the third one. Thanks for the suggestions!
  14. It is visible on this preserved aircraft - Flickr has many good photos of it:
  15. Mostly done - I need to do some color corrections and add a couple of small markings, and will send it to be printed next week. 18 options on this one. There is a second, all-black sheet with wing walkways and some other black markings. Also some structural details to improve the Minicraft kit. With large period-accurate unit markings and a lot of variety, the 1/72 version of this would look great on the Monogram kit. It will take some more work though, and will be coming in the next couple of months.
  16. Nothing really special here. I don't have the time this week (getting ready to send a few new designs to the printers), but it's probably a 15-20 minute project and could be a good addition to a future Caracal Sabre sheet. Perhaps next weekend? The US AIR FORCE is the standard US "block" font ("Amarillo" is a commercial name made up by a font designer years ago) and needs minor modifications to the freely available fonts. I disagree that the stroke width is different, the slightly thicker appearance is probably due to JPEG compression artifacts in the shared photo. There are larger and clearer
  17. I have seen your A-4M and taken a few photos at San Marcos - it was excellent. If I remember correctly Corey's FJ Fury was on a table nearby. I was lucky to see so many great builds using Caracal decals that day!
  18. It is most likely the guidance / data link pod associated with the CM-802AKG missile. Its Chinese designation is not publicly known, they exhibited this pod in international fairs using the name I gave above. https://aviationweek.com/defense-space/china-defense-close
  19. This batch of decals will soon be here; and I plan to enable preorders early next week.
  20. I received a flurry of orders for this sheet in the last few days - I wonder if it has been featured in a magazine article or something - did anyone see anything? I am now down to the last few, and it might even have been sold out by now. I will check the inventory tonight and cancel some pending orders if necessary. Thanks for your tremendous interest in this sheet.
  21. I already caught and did the striped slipway markings that appeared in the late 1960s, but I don't think the "check the oil" markings were standard 🙂 I will add them to the general markings sheet in 1/72 though as a funny touch.
  22. Every time you mention another decal company's name here, a baby seal dies in agony. If they wanted to publicize their products here, they would have done it (and pay for the forum, as I do and support ARC).
  23. I believe there will be about 15 options on this sheet - will post the final drafts soon.
  24. It is an interesting idea and I will think about it - I heard only good things about the old Tamiya kit.
