  1. I just sent them a few days ago, so perhaps it will be closer to late January...The build is going great, hopefully the decals will be available on time!
  2. I noticed that 1/48 F-117 decals are somewhat difficult to find these days, so I will be releasing a 1/48 Nighthawk sheet soon. It will basically be a scaled-down version of my 1/32 sheet plus a couple Desert Storm options (not another "Toxic Avenger", LOL! Something that was not done before; weapons bay art and all.). More info coming soon.
  3. I have not thought about other scales yet, let me concentrate on getting the 1/48 right and we'll talk about 1/72 and 1/32.
  4. I designed that sheet for the Sword T-38C kit, which was cancelled soon afterwards. It's been waiting ever since. I will release it as soon as someone does a T-38C (either Wolfpack or Trumpeter are bound to do a -C version of their kits sometime down the road), but it doesn't make much sense printing it before a T-38C kit appears. I will most likely include a white 1980s Red Bulls T-38A on my other T-38A sheet, though.
  5. It is printed on the decal sheet itself...should be visible in the bottom left corner of the image above as well.
  6. This one will be coming soon to a Caracal Models outlet near you. This is the famous "white Hornet" that was somewhat tatty-looking until it disappeared into the VMFAT-101 paint shop and emerged with these markings in early November. It carries the names of four Medal of Honor recipients on the cockpit sides, and a very nice full-color Medal of Honor art on the speed brake. It will be on the same sheet as the VMFA-242 color bird. I am mostly done with the artwork; but I have been down with the flu for the last couple of days and want to double-check my first Hornet drawings before I share any
  7. Obviously this will not be the only subject on the sheet; so I needed one more USMC twin seater. What better choice than the Medal of Honor F/A-18B?
  8. Almost done with this - profiles, etc. hopefully coming next week.
  9. They are both pretty much plain vanilla 9-12s (save for the TACAN antennae on the Iranian example, which could be scratchbuilt easily by anyone), so they will work on the GWH kit.
  10. Don Logan's book has a few photos of Offutt (55th RW) Talons.
  11. Something else for those "going Polish" : http://caracalmodels.com/cd48029.html http://caracalmodels.com/cd48030.html
  12. I still need to tweak some of the colors and sizes, but this is very close to the final layout; and I will send this to Cartograf this week along with a couple other new releases. The final design includes markings for F-100C and F-100Fs from New Mexico (ADC Grey aircraft), New Jersey ("XA" tail code) and DC.
  13. Just give me a few days, and I will post an update.
  14. These are kit parts??? Whoa.
  15. Dees anyone have comprehensive references for the scheme and the stencilling? If you do, please send me a PM.
  16. The latest issue (January 2013) of Scale Aircraft Modeling International (SAMI) has a Kinetic T-45 review/build feature using Caracal Models' CD48023. Please take a look when you get the magazine!!
  17. Without a photo or a more detailed description it is hard to know what differences you're talking about, but I designed a new set of stencilling in the correct typefaces and styles for the F-15SG. If you believe there are other differences, some photos or more details would be helpful.
  18. Same here, I'm a huge Javelin fan and wanted an injection-molded kit for years.
  19. I am looking for a Gloster Javelin kit in 1/72. Either the Airfix or Frog/Novo (or Testors) kits will work; and so will the Heller trainer version. I can trade with any of the following, buy outright, or trade with Caracal Models products. Send me a PM if you have one. Kits available for trade: -Italeri 1/48 F-5E Tiger II -Monogram 1/48 OA-4M -Academy 1/72 F-86E
  20. I don't have anything planned for the time being, but after I release the 1/48 sheets I want to do; I will probably reuse the artwork for a 1/72 sheet just like I am doing for the T-45 and F-15 now.
  21. Before I get another PM or e-mail in addition to the 4 that I got this morning. YES, THE NAVY STYLE LETTERING IS ACCURATE FOR AN OPERATIONAL USAF HH-34J. THANK YOU.
  22. Well, now you have. Look carefully. These were all given to USAF straight from US Navy and had Navy style lettering. And this is how they flew throughout their operational life. It is only a few museum/exhibit aircraft that are inaccurately painted with USAF lettering.
  23. Caracal Models will have at least two decal sheets for the new (and old) UH-34 kits in the next couple of months. The first one (due in January) will feature: -UH-34D, US Navy, HT-8 "Eightballers", NAS Ellyson Field, FL -UH-34D, US Navy, VC-1, NAS Barbers Point, HI -HH-34J, USAF Reserve, 304th ARRS, Portland, OR
  24. Here is what will be on CD48032, my first UH-34 sheet. I managed to squeeze three options on the sheet. I would like to keep this a single-page decal sheet, there will be at least one more sheet with Army, Marines and foreign options. -UH-34D, US Navy, HT-8 "Eightballers", NAS Ellyson Field, FL -UH-34D, US Navy, VC-1, NAS Barbers Point, HI -HH-34J, USAF Reserve, 304th ARRS, Portland, OR
