  1. CD144028 will be a general purpose markings sheet for B-52s of all eras and schemes, with national insignia, stencilling, walkways, windscreen and window decals, walkways, and markings for missiles like the Hound Dog, Quail and AGM-86 etc. Very similar to the best-selling KC-135 set (CD144004), and should allow you build multiple kits from one of my 1/144 B-52 sheets. I am sure there will eventually be a 1/72 version, but it will take some time.
  2. This 1/144 sheet with a diverse set of markings is coming in March - I tried to incorporate your suggestions to the extent possible. Here is a small selection from the options. The 1/72 version is going to follow in April or May.
  3. Very nice - always good to see more C-130s.
  4. CD32027 will be a 1/32 scale limited run (250 copies only) set for USAF F-16C's in the Have Glass V scheme.
  5. I will make an update to the web site with the product IDs of a few upcoming sheets and a 1/72 C-9 sheet will be among them.
  6. This sheet is finally nearing completion - I may actually end up doing multiple sheets so I am considering a few new subjects. Most of the aces' aircraft have been done multiple times already - don't worry though, I am doing a few of them again, more accurately. Both Gene Kranz and Buzz Aldrin were in Korea, but decals for their aircraft have not been done (to my knowledge). I really would like to include these. I have some references on Kranz' jets, but not on Aldrin's. He's been photographed in multiple Sabres: one with a nose art of Pluto chasing a Mig-15 (reported to be not his
  7. Ooh la la - malheureusement I am not sure I will make another "Early Years" F-15 sheet, though. Perhaps we will find a place for this on another future sheet.
  8. Wow - that's a cool one! Now if Arnaud was in business he could have made a conversion kit for it. It's indeed a phantastic scheme, but without a conversion kit those canards would be phreaking difficult to get perfectly right. It is an easy scheme, though - I will look for more photos and it would be a great fit for an "Early Years" sheet.
  9. It is the 61st Troop Carrier Squadron. I have the photo you mentioned. It will be one of the options on the sheet.
  10. For this subject, 10-12 options is about right.
  11. I included the single-seater B-1B chase F-106 in a previous 1/48 scale F-106A sheet, but never did the F-106B. Perhaps I could do a dedicated F-106B sheet at some point including 57-2513.
  12. Because it was repainted later, and that is the time period depicted on the sheet. I think the Edwards test Phantoms are well covered, but I will include Edwards jets of other types in future sheets as appropriate.
  13. Thanks for the reminder, scheduling the CD72023 reprint for March!
  14. Everything I release will be sold by Hannants - it might take a month or so but they regularly get restocks.
  15. Thanks, these are really helpful! In most of these photos the small overhead windows are obscured by the sprayed latex, but I can make out the outline of the receptacle door. I was hoping to see the exact outlines of the overhead windows and the two small lights on the refueling door, so I could provide these as decals to represent the missing structural details of the Minicraft kit recently reboxed by Academy.
  16. Folks, do you think you can help me with a good photo showing the exact outline of the B-52 inflight refueling door and cockpit overhead windows? Perhaps a photo taken straight from the top (aerial refueling photos are almost always taken from the tanker, and have an angle very difficult to correct) - I remember finding a photo showing the front fuselage section at an Arizona boneyard that was rolled to the side for the perfect angle, but I can not find it now. Maybe something like this, but showing a fuselage in better shape.
  17. I regenerated the reference images here. There is nothing special in the top view of option 7 & 8 : the wing markings are largely similar to the standard high-visibility schemes of the period, similar to the LC-130.
  18. Probably in mid February at the earliest.
  19. I don’t know what these look like - have not really researched the subject since there was no 1/48 kit in the market .
  20. Thanks for sharing this - will definitely appear on a Caracal sheet if someone ever releases a 1/48 F-86H.
  21. This sheet was developed with invaluable help from Jeffrey and the web page/instructions will suggest the use of the Hypersonic set.
  22. The February batch of releases are: CD48233 - 1/48 F-104 "Test & Drone Zippers" CD72060 - 1/72 F-16 Dark Vipers - Part 1 (reprint) CD72064 - 1/72 F-104 in Vietnam (reprint) CD72132 - 1/72 QF-4 "Team Target" CD72148 - 1/72 A-10 "The Early Years" CD72155 - 1/72 F-104 "Test & Drone Zippers" It ended up being a month dominated by 72nd scale, I will make up for it in a couple of months with many 1/48 sheets. The 1/72 scale RF-8 sheet and the tall-tail B-52 sheet did not make it into this batch; I am almost done with these and my goal
  23. I cleared up some space in my inbox so you can PM me again - thanks
