  1. I went through a bunch of Badger airbrushes, and while they were good, I finally bought an Iwata Eclipse HP-C about 5 years ago. Needless to say, I don't use any of the Badger's anymore. The Eclipse is a good all-around airbrush. If you're doing fine work, you might end up needing something else. Best regards, Chad
  2. Most of the hobby type suppliers are going to have sets of bits that usually stop at #80 (.0135"), which in my opinion is way too big for rigging. Check out industrial suppliers like McMaster-Carr or MSC. I've ordered plenty of stuff from McMaster-Carr in the past without any issues, and they ship quickly. Extremely small bits are going to need a good pin vise, like a Starrett, as mentioned in a previous post. Neither a good pin vise or really small bits are going to be cheap though, you get what you pay for. Another option is Drill Bit City, they have resharpened drill bit
  3. A gentleman in my model club does 1/35 armor and he recently built some sort of supply truck in which he used bobbins from a sewing machine to represent wire spools. He painted them a coppery-bronze color with a dark brown wash. They looked very much the part in my opinion.
  4. The CB Model Products punch and die set has 12 punches and sells for $47USD, twice as many punches for $7USD more.
  5. No problem. I just checked Micro-Marks website and they have their punch set listed for $59.95. Last time I saw it listed for $49.95, and that wasn't that long ago. Add in another $10 for shipping, and it starts to get a little pricey.
  6. If you're looking for a better value on a punch and die set, google CB Model Products. Their set has more punches and is a little cheaper.
  7. $45 USD plus $5 USD s/h in the USA. You can contact me at cbmodelproducts@hotmail.com, if you're interested. Chad Bowser
  8. I have some boxed up and ready to ship. If anybody is interested contact me at cbmodelproducts@hotmail.com and I'll give you the details. Chad
  9. No, I don't have a website. I just take orders thru email. I only have 2 other products, you can see them here if you just do a search for "CB Model Products".
  10. The punches and the metal die are both O-1 Tool Steel. .030" styrene is the maximum thickness I would recommend. In my opinion once you go beyond that, I feel that you have to strike the punches too hard with the possibility of damaging something, the punches are also difficult to remove once they've punched through the material, and the thicker you go the punched disks have a tendency to squash in the middle and generally don't produce very good results.
  11. I plan on having them available around mid January. Chad
