Sorry Gwen, you’re confusing my reply with Jonathan Smith’s original post. He’s the guy with the 3D printed Aden gun pods. 😉 I only shared my photo of the set I just bought from him on eBay.

Hi Modelers! I’m looking for a copy of Caracal Decals 48038 or specifically the Arkansas ANG F-4 markings from the sheet. Please drop me a PM if you have an unwanted/extra sheet. Thanks!

1/48 Hasegawa Dauntless part F3, rear cockpit middle bulkhead, found on the same sprue runner as the canopies.
Please let me know if you’ve got a spare. Thanks.
I’m located in California.

Lots of photos and news, if you’re on Facebook.

I made a seamless intake for the F-2A/B, it’s available at Phase Hangar Resin:

is wakko807 randy roothaar?
Yes.

That’s wakko807’s scratchbuilt skycrane.

I saw some more photos of this build on FB; does the kit seem to sit a bit low?

No more hobby shops near the base, Nick’s Hobby Shop (formerly Don’s Hobby) closed up shop in the early 2000s. There is a gaming shop near the Michael’s store across from Solano Mall but not much model stuff.
The Loose Caboose would be a fun trip to make, just note that Bottle Rock will be happening on May 24-26 so expect lots of traffic in and out of Napa during those days.

Check out Craig’s build here to get an idea of what mods you need to do for the centerline pylon:

If you can find the out-of-production AMRAAM Resin conversion (released in the late 1990s) for the Monogram kit, you can make either a GR.5 or 7. They used to have the Harrier Plus conversion as well.

Is it possible to use your inside resin part together with Hasegawa's outside part?
You can, but you must modify both parts.

Oh I see. Those photos were of the test casts, the main intake and resin parts are smooth. Better photos will be shared (I didn’t take the latest photos LOL).

The photo is a resin copy of the master pattern. I still don’t understand the “outward intake cover” you mention as I didn’t make any intake covers (I don’t use intake covers in any of my builds BTW 😎).

As I can see you have just issued intake for F-2A.
Nice, but I am affraid those outward intake cover looks a little bit more coarse then Hasegawa's one. Or maybe it is just picture?
Have you got maybe better picture of those parts?
I’m sorry, I don’t understand your question regarding the F-2 intakes.

I know that Phase Hanger is supposedly working on sets for both Hasegawa and Tamiya F-16s. No ETA announced as of yet.
Trying to get a build done for Nationals. After that I’ll get back to work on the intakes masters. 🙂

I sent Mike a PM. I guess he isn’t quite caught up then LOL! Sorry guys. Will keep you posted.

An F-2 intake, too? My bank account is already screaming in agony! 🤣
Ben
Yup! I received some test shots last week to check the intake fit to the kit and the resin fits perfectly.
I have seamless F-16 NSI and MCID intakes in progress for the Hasegawa kits. I have huge stash of those and thought it’s about time they get some love again since the Seamless Suckers aren’t available anymore.
Seamless Tamiya F-16 intakes are on the bench too but I need to finish at least one Nats build before I can concentrate on the intake projects.
What is the best engine correcting set for Academy A-10C?

As mentioned above, the Sierra Hotel Models A-10 resin intakes for the 1/48 Academy kit are nice. The DEF and Wolfpack sets are nice too but the Sierra Hotel ones were designed by modelers who have worked with the aircraft. The print quality is top notch.
I also have the PHR set but had issues with the print quality (broken fan blades or short shot prints).
I’d go with either DEF or Wolfpack if that’s what you like but for accuracy and print quality, go for the SHM set if you can afford it.
