What 1/72 kit would be best for this? I realized just now that I know nothing about Canadian Sea Kings.

The targets are filled with a tannerite, because...... explosions. And this dude is as Russian as I am, he is from GA. His vids are a blast though. and remember, have nice day. -
If you'll permit me, I'd like to join in with a build I started and stalled on HERE. Fujmi's 1995 Gulf McLaren GTR short tail. I was thinking about picking it up again as something to do while in between steps on the resin Indy car I'm working on.
-
Looking good David! Will definitely pick up a set in 1/72.

Italeri is your only option. It is not just their standard hawk kit. But that being said does not fully represent the T-45 either. It is apparently based on the t-45 prototype, and will need some changes to bring up to current spec. I found some articles in the past detailing what needs done, if I find them again I will forward them to you.

Got some work done on the rear suspension this afternoon. Chrome finish on the wheels, not alclad quality but not too shabby for a rattle can. Krylon chrome over Testors gloss black.
-
Thanks Bob, This kit is proving to be quite a bit of fun. I just wish they weren't so expensive, or I'd have quite a few more.
-
Any estimate about the price?

Not true, R.J. Mitchell died in June, 1937. The first production spitfire did not roll off the assembly line until mid 1938. So he only ever saw the spit tested.

This is my WIP of the Lance Sellers resin kit of the M15 indy car. The M15 was McLaren's first attempt at an indy racer, based on the tech from the M8 Can-Am cars and powered by a turbo charged Offenhauser 4cyl engine. For a fuller description see http://www.bruce-mclaren.com/the-cars/indy-500/m15/gallery/1.html. This is the car I am modeling. This was actually started last week, and I forgot to take any pics of the resin parts as they came. Here is how she stands as of tonight. White metal parts. Wheels Body painted in Tamiya TS-56 brilliant orange, awaiting final coat. Radia

I agree, just something that popped into my head when I read that quote. Maybe the A-10 fanboys can at least point and say, look,!you need us see how quick this other CAS platform would be wiped out! I'm really not in any position to say one way or another about the hog, I'm just an aviation fan. Never was in the military in any capacity, but i do find it strange how personalized this issue has become in the threads that pop up about it.

That is at least a wee bit slower than what David Morgan says the RAF Germany's Harrier force was expected to suffer if the balloon ever went up. IIRC in the intro to "Hostile Skies" he had the projected Harrier force losses at something like 30% per day.

w00t! T-45 decals ordered. Thanks for scaling those down Kursad!

I've never had anything but excellent service from UMM. They are definitely in the US, you should be more than fine.

RKic, Star is the place Whitey is thinking of, its in one of those strange pull offs on 50 east just before the bridge. Its primarily a model RR place, with an ok selection of kits. Nothing to make a special trip for. -

Bummer. We're running out of hobby shops around here, just hobby works and star left. And I have to wonder how much longer star will be around in that oddball location of theirs. -
Do any of you know what happened to GPA hobbies? I tried to stop in on my way back home from the shore this afternoon, to find out that it is now a flooring showroom. Did they fold or just move elsewhere? Cheers.
