  2. not sure if allowed but lock if it's not http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljlist?SaleGroup=20140513_HSG&header=HaseSal052014&utm_source=AdRoll%20Image%20Exchange&utm_medium=AdRoll%20Facebook&utm_term=&utm_content=Hasegawa%20Sale%2005%202014&utm_campaign=AdRoll%20Facebook
  3. ended up snagging trumpeter's T-90A since my LHS didn't have the meng kit in stock. this is going to be one hell of a build. has anyone used the friul tracks?
  4. yeah, maybe some correct resin wheels? still waiting on the charlie.......
  5. looking into building a T-90. I see that trumpeter, meng, and zvezda make this tank. seeing how trumpeter/hobby boss slacks in the aircraft department, how does their armor stack up? thanks!
  6. knew hasegawa would do that. thanks for clearing that up. guess I'll try and track down the fujimi kit.
  7. thanks everyone! I see hasegawa did a G-14/AS but is it even accurate? thanks!
  8. revell is the best in shape, accuracy, cheap, and can be found everywhere.
  9. calling all Gustav experts. been looking into building a G-6/AS but understand the nose section shape is a bit different. I'm looking at 1/48 or 1/32 options. are there any G-6/AS sets out there in either scale? could the G-10/14 kit be a donor? thanks!
  10. http://www.scaleplasticandrail.com/kaboom/index.php/all-other-subjects/news/83-kit-news/2059-eduard-s-new-1-48-bf-109g-6-is-on-your-six sprue photo's. http://www.detailscaleview.com/2014/03/eduard-148-bf-109-fg-may-release-8268.html
  11. i got a bottle of tenax but rarely use it. seeing how hot tamiya is on this kit, I wouldn't try it. all on you though.
  12. awesome shots! man, that A-10 has taken a beating.
  13. be careful when using tamiya extra thin cement when working of WPD talon kit. this glue seems to be too hot and likes to melt the plastic. I got access glue on the intake and it made a little dent in it.
  14. nope, hes never had a build thread or shown pics of his builds or at least I've never seen them. most I've seen is comparison photo's.
  15. when did this turn into an accuracy war? oh wait, because Gaston.
  16. I didn't measure the width but stared at it for a few minutes and the styrene wheels look to be a tag skinnier but not by a lot. I may be wrong and my sight is throwing me off.
  17. not everyone cares about accuracy. anyways, the refueling probe is way off. way too fat and sits to high. does it use the same FM622 whip antenna has the skyraider?
  18. post on zone five by user Viper Enforcer "I check and measure the 3 top T-38 Kits and can confirm the WP T-38 is more accurate dimensionally than Trumpeter's. The quoted length dimensions on Cybermodeler and a few other forums are wrong. I looked up the dimensions in the 1T-38A-2-1 TO and also verified the dimensions within 1/4" on the real jet. Length: 530.32", Length "with Pitot": 556.32", Wingspan: 303.00", Stab span: 170", Height (tail to ground): 154.64", Height from top of boat tail to top of vertical tail: 85.2" Actual T-38A length (no Pitot) is 530.32", which = 11.05” in 1/48th sc
  19. revellogram, italeri, academy,or dragon. what kit would be best for a vietnam era bird? does anyone make decals for the shark mouth bird as well? thanks!
  20. not the best but hear you are. trumpy on the left and WPD on the right.
  21. there is no comparison because the trumpy kit is larger in all aspects. the trumpy kit has a wider wing span, fuselage is longer length wise, and the wings are just too large. pictures speak for themselves.
  22. looks pretty good. I don't see any major gaps so thats a plus.
