  2. plus they always sold at high retail. they wanted what $60-70 for the viper? my LHS has them for $45 i think it was.
  3. same here also and im in NC. they proble weren't selling enough because of the price. and i do agree because i see more trump kits their. only tam products are armor. academy stuff also.

  11. MM Metalizer Aluminum Plate. both in buffing N none Buffing. they are lacquer based just like tamiyas AS and TS spray cans.
  12. eduard makes awesome 190's but aren't the easiest to build. lots of detail and the open cowling is a plus. tamiya has its issues but the it's a simple kit with awesome fit as always. hasegawa like tamiya has its issues but i hate the cowling. i built two and they both gave me problems. some parts want to fit and some don't. cowling being the crappy fit and the wing to cowling fit is blah. some had this problem and some didn't. im not crazy about accuracy and i don't build for shows. im happy with the tamiya kit.
  13. yeah, i did have a feeling it looked a little skinny in the rear.
  14. tamiya's 48scale spits are lovely. I've got about 5 of them in the stash. as for the middlestone, was your Mix of XF59 and 60 or was it different?
  15. had a feeling this would turn into a "tamiya is better" thread. i like building the same A/C but i always choose a different company when doing so. I've got the academy, hasegawa, and tamiya jug. only one i didn't like was the 47N from academy. the fuselage fit was super horrible. it was like someone left it sitting in the sun. im currently working on a hase jug. bubble top D. i've got the fuselage sealed up with no problems. the wing to fuselage fit it's the best but isn't rocket science to get it to fit properly. like someone mentioned above a sprue spreader will do. the cap isn't smaller
  16. I've found a couple photo's but none show the under surface.
