i use both tamiya and gunze primers with zero problems. surfacer 1200 out of the rattle ran sprays like a dream.

i got a pretty good over sized canopy on the hasegawa gr.7 harrier kit. how would i go about fixing this prob? would be if better to just get another from hasegawa? thanks!

what orange would you recommend for the tip tanks on a luftwaffe f-104? was the under surface of the luftwaffe f-104 really a dull/white aluminum then rather an actually gray? thanks!

weird, I didn't have any problems with the decals when building their hellcat kit.

i work with MM enamels and tamiya acrylics but in this instants, I'm using mm enamels. alclad is the only gloss i use out of the bottle but I can't seem to get a nice finish unless i cake it on. the finish looks uneven but that's proble because of me. I figured polishing would give it more of an even finish. thanks for the help!

I'm an aircraft guy but need help from the hot rod builders who are known for the excellent high gloss finishes. how do you guys do them? is there a special buffing compound to give that deep gloss finish? I hate spraying gloss paints all in all.

I agree with you on their decals. microset itself does the job of settling the decals down. I rarely use microsol/solvaset on these decals.

hoping someone will do a resin replacement for the refueling probe.

thanks chippy! that clears up why the decal sheet says not to use the vertical stab brackets on the charlie but says they are used on the alpha.
