  5. Yes, you agree? Or yes, I was the only one? 100% with you; the Raptor and CF-18 demos were something else.
  6. Went on Cloudy-Saturday. Haven't uploaded the pics yet, however. Was I the only one expecting just a little MORE from a 50th Anniversary show that is supposed to be one of the better shows around? -John

  13. Daniel, Since around the November time-frame. Gregg, Thanks, I almost gave him my new S5 IS, but wasn't sure if it would be too much to handle/too big. Wish I would have now. Oh well. SB, Oh yeah. 10 more forms, then just FCLPs and CQs. Looking like June boat for me, but we'll see. You know how it is w/ skeds.
  14. Neat shot there, Hazer. Seem to recall in a special they did on the Blues several years ago, they crossed the Atlantic following a tanker the whole way. No tanks. -John
  15. Back to page one for the 'Hawk.. Not my work...but it is my camera. Handed it off today for photos of my cruise form, and finally got some for the "I love me" files. Cheers, -John
  16. Like several things especially about that new Hobo bird...uniqueness, if you will. 1) The '400' on the nose and the way it's NOT painted half-and-half with a different color (ala the '100' on the Black Aces CAG), I think it looks better in one color. 2) The addition of the colored tank (wish we saw more of it). 3) Pinstripe carried all the way down the leading edges of the wings and over to the horizontal stabs. 4) Painted tailhook. Thanks for posting the pics, btw. -John
  17. Mike, One got too close to the other and then the propeller hit the tail of the one it was too close to. -John
  18. Not to mention it looks like it's coming out of a dive. :) -John
  19. Sounds crazy, but looks great. That technique is certainly something to consider...just sounds so weird! Well done!! -John
  20. Brian, Just wondering what seam you are talking about. Is there one created between the pod and the nose or is it on the pod itself? Thanks, -Johh
  21. Mike, Tom, and Skull, Appreciate the input, gents! Got a trade working for a Revell chin pod from Erick (Lock n Load). I've got a B he needs and he has the D. Thanks again! -John
