VALLEY CON 2014, Southern California's finest exhibition, contest and swap meet for modelers, aficionados of the miniature, and lovers of swap meets will take place for the twenty fourth consecutive year at the Pasadena Civic Center,300 East Green Street, Pasadena California, March 2, 2014. Doors open at 9:00 AM and we will have both Open Judging (Figures and Sci-Fi) as well as Traditional Judging ( Armor, Automobiles, Aircraft, Ships). WOW !!! Then WOW !!! again .... I saw one of these at a local model club, and then brought one cause, well cause...but your take on this is unbelivable !!! My only question is why not use "Bare Medal Foil" as the source for your coverings...I would think it would be easier, I plan on using it for some American space craft...of course now I will buy some in aluminmum.... Thanks for your inspiration !!! George

Lucky you Oliver, and the first to hear it...you now have until March 2nd 2014 to finish this model or models as may be the case as that is the date for VALLEY CON 2014 where it would be great if you could debut this model !!! Breaking news and you're the first to hear it !!! This should also take the pressure off as you do not have to rush anything to meet deadlines for other lesser ( :-) ) shows !!! VALLEY CON 2014, Sunday March 2, 2014, Pasadena CA !!! That is your deadline !!!

Just a quick reminder we are going to have a big party in Pasadena this weekend---Valley Con 2013---lots of models, lots of people, lots of vendors, lots of fun !!!

Congrats !! Looks good, hopefully you'll make the trip down to VALLEY CON in Pasadena this coming weekend with it...we have lots of Plaques and hardware to give away, and you'll be aircraft modeling heaven !!!

Next Sunday this time we will be knee deep in models and modelers, hope to see all ARC'ers there !!!

...so tempted to start mine right now, these photos are inspirational !!! Did already buy roto fold kit from scalewarships after seeing Brett Greene's model on Hyperscale, but these are even more so , with the amount of detail added.

...and per our conversation at last nights monthly club meeting, they must all be same scale !!! It's only $ 2.00 to enter the first five models in the "Collections" category, and free for up to as big a collection as you want !!! But remember, if your model is in the "Collections" category it is not eligable for any individual award category where entry is $1.00 per model. See you Sunday March 3, 2013 at So. We have added a "Collections" category to VALLEY CON 2013. Must have a minimum of 5 models of a similar genre per contestant to enter and there is a First, Second, and Third Place award in the Category. For details and forms, please write to pasadenamodeler@aol.com
