  1. The F-104 kits in both scales, 1:48 and 1:72 from Hasegawa are spectacular kits. I especially like the 1:48 and the fact they spent the time and money to make the TF-104. Another one seemingly forgotten kit from Hasegawa is the 1:48 A-4 series. I wish they would re-release the two-seat version. Still, no one does the A-4 better. Eduard came out with the Hasegawa plastic with added parts, decals etc and really could only replace the seat. Hobby Boss recently came out with their A-4 series (E/F) and although a decent kit, it fails in key areas, for example, the wing leading edge slats are mo
  2. Once it is put on to a U.S. Govt aircraft, doesn't it immediately, in that specific instance and likeness, become public domain?
  3. I did. I received an email response from him even last evening telling me he posted the F-14D. I have bought (and sold) to him before. He is usually pretty good about getting back to you if you PM and or email. Mark
  4. You may want to make contact with someone at the old Chanute air museum that closed its doors in November. They have planes and parts that will likely end up in the scrap heap. Who to contact, I have no idea. But I am betting someone at the Air Force Museum would know. Mark
  5. Anyone have a good mix recipe for the ADC gray using Tamiya paints? Mark
  6. CRM in St. Louis is worth the trip, but make sure Chris is not out on a vendor trip because he takes so much stuff with him. The other place to check out in STL is Mark Twain on the west side. They do have a lot of kits at decent prices. In Indy there are two Hobby Town USA's one on the south and the other on the North. Last time I was there, the North was much better. The shop in Plainfield closed last year. There used to be one on the east side of town by the old Ft Ben Harrison, but not sure if it is there anymore. There is a new shop up in Lebanon, right off of I-65. Probably has more ki
  7. Looking for a Kinetic 1:48 S-2A Tracker. Would like to purchase from within CONUS if someone has a desire to dispose of one.
  8. Something similar to this happened in Rochester the week before, too.
  9. If there is, I am not aware of it. I am new to the are though. Please do share your intel. M
  10. I have just moved to the area. HobbyWorks appears to be about the only game in town for those of us on the northern fringes in Baltimore / BelAir. I have tried to make contact with the Baltimore IPMS with no success. I have heard they meet in this place and then another. It appears that I will use HW for paints, glues and such. Kits will be generally online purchases. As it was stated a little earlier, you would think an area with such diversity and populations as the Baltimore / Washington area would have at least one decent shop. Mark
  11. Jeff, I responded to you. If those are not getting to you, shoot me an email at mhouptATGmail.
