You could go for the 1/125 Heller 747. There is a virgin version. If it's a good kit, is a whole other matter.

OK, thanks guys. I will be visiting the Welsh models website soon.

any pictures? Keep in mind, it is the march 30th incident.
-
All i know is that it was a F/A 18C and that 11 people on deck were injured, so it had to be a big explosion.
-
I noticed that in march a F/A 18 exploded on the USS John C. Stennis. Anybody got any pictures or more info on what happend (apart from the righthand engine exploding and a total loss of the plane). Edit: f*cked up the date.

Do you thin it with something to airbrush, or straight out of the can (minus the gas) and in to the airbrush. I bought 15 airlinerkits over the years and just 2 weeks ago found out how hard it is to paint white. And i am an idiot, so idiotproof is gooed :)

Looking very nice. Almost makes me regret that i never build What Ifs. -
Full sprue shots also available on the zvezda site (including transparent plastic for passenger windows).

I meant the Sp one. I would also like the revell 747-200 and will be happy to hear from you by the end of the week. The airfix one isn't in my interrests because it isn't all that well.

I searched the forum a bit, but couldn't find the answer. How do you assamble a vacuform kit. Because how i see it, it has very flimsy fuselages and relatively heavy wings wich are supposed to be supported by this fuselage. And how do you glue it? I just want to know because there are 2 kits out there that i want to try (welsh 747-200sp and a MD 11) wich you can't find in 'normal' kits. So some basic tips and estemated 'rate' of difficulty will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Mine was, when i was building Revell's A300-600ST Beluga. I had a hard time finding a weight to put in the nose. Finally i realized that since i was building it with the cargo doors closed (why i cut the off just to glue them back on, i'm still not sure.), i could put a weight in the cargohold instead of the cockpit and problem solved. Only i put in a 350gr weight, when usually 30-50gr is needed, so when i tried setting it down on its wheels, the front gear always collapsed. I wonder why.. <_<

Very brave of you to do such a massive conversion. I hope to do one one day. Just a little point of 'critique', if you can even call it that, but in the second to last photo, it seems the vertical stabilizer is crooked. I think you might want to consider using some hot water to bend it back.

Irony? I bought a Revell 747-200 (space shuttle carrier) off of him a few weeks ago. BTW, thanks again for that one dunelimo. It's a very nice kit.

It's funny how you do something so childish and than ask people to grow up. A normal person would have asked and posted even if there is just one reply. Now personally, i'd be imbarassed if i were you. Just know that by performing your stunt, you damaged your reputation and that just so you would get some attention. Sad, real sad. As for your statement about commenting without thinking, read your own comment in a few days, or have it read by someone and see how ridiculous it is. Many thanks to Iron Man for reducing the damage. P.S.: If people 'flame' the kit, do you see this as a personal a

Seen it at koksijde? I don't think that is possible seeing that it is repainted twice since then. Are you sure you didn't see this plane? This is the new markings it flies in.
