  1. I wouldn't use that Revell kit. If i was you, i would give the Revell kit to me Really desperately looking for a Revell 1/144 747-200. (btw thanks again for the 747 SCA)
  2. Ok, good to know it is fixed. It would be a shame if such a great model would have been ruined by a crooked tail when all it takes is for one person to just point it out and all is well. But once again, great model. Hope that i ever get the skills and courage to make such a drastic conversion.
  3. Well, i too wanted to start with a revell 747-200 but it is very hard to find and very expensive. That's why i wanted to look for an airfix 747 and use a less expensive revell 747-400, because i just spend 1 year and alot of money to aquire one Revell 747-200 and that is the shuttle carrier wich i don't want to cut up. I'd like to use 2 revell 747-400's and 1 airfix 747-200 to make a 747-400F (747-400 fuselage with the upperdeck of the airfix kit) and a 747-300 (fuselage of a 747-400 with the airfix wings) .
  4. Very nice, but i think your vertical stabilizer is crooked. It seems to be in one of the pictures (earlier in the build, the head on picture).
  5. I've been looking on the forum and finding similar topics, but not really what i'm looking for. If you combine that revell 1/144 747-400's body with a airfix 747-200's wings, would you get a variant of the 747-300 or just a plane that never excisted and if so, what is (besides making one of the last 8 747-300's) the easiest or best way of converting a 747-400 revell kit into a 747-300? Thanks in advance.
  6. Very nice so far. I have the same kit in my stash and it is my plan too build the exact same livery that you are building. This being said, i already noticed a fault with the decals regarding this livery. The decal of the russian flag on the tail is undersized. It should be about 30% larger, thats why i decided to paint that flag because it doesn't seem all that hard to do. But once more, very nice build. BTW, the tail decal is well suited for placement on 'normal' style russian airforce tails of an 124's. I have a picture of the 2 version parked together that shows the sized difference
  7. Here is a faster way. Just press print :) http://www.revell.de/manual/04013.PDF

  9. The ship you are seeing is a car carrier ship RORO (Roll On Roll Off). The one shown in the picture seems to be the 'Brasilia Highway'.
  10. Does anyone have a Revell 1/144 Boeing 747-200 or spaceshuttlecarrier laying around that he/she wants to sell? I would like to own 3 copies. Thanks in advance.
  11. I know it is much too ask; but if you don't try...
  12. Hi, i'm looking for 3 Revell 747-200's in scale 1/144. I know this is a hard kit to come by, but i hope some will find a copy buried deep in his/her stash. Thanks in advance and feel free too PM
  13. I recently (2 months ago) bought a Revell A310 (interflug) for 20 euro. That's about 25 dollars, so you can still find them. But the 747-200 in 1/144 is a mistery. Looking for that one for months now. Come on Revell. Reissue it.
