  1. Very nice job. I really love the panel lines. But can i make a small negative comment (even if this isn't the critique corner)? You said that you wanted to work on displaying the aircraft in flight, but there is no pilot in the cockpit. Just a small mistake, but something that can be corrected in future builds. Other than that, again, it's a great model and a great subject.
  2. Aerial video shows the plane struck an embankment just before the beginning of the runway.
  3. I saw a guy in Holland use "Xtracolor Helvetic Magenta" and his A320 looked good. Link to the site: http://www.modelbrouwers.nl/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=38922&p=767487&hilit=wizz&sid=bf47a59fd026cdf14f3085f573b14b99#p767487
  4. Looking very nice. What kit and scale is it?
  5. Did you trow away a A380 kit? Was it that badly gone. I would have taken pictures and offered it to someone on the forum at postage price or even keep it since you are making another one and might need spares, but then again, i don't know the state it was in. Just seems like a waste. But, back on the A350. Are there any sprue shots yet of the A350 or is this to early yet with a release date of 10/2013?
  6. I was thinking the same thing actually. But, i also think if you park both next to each other, the 757 would look like a baby (step) brother.
  7. The more i look at it, the more i like it.
  8. Surely, you must be joking <_< (Don't call me Shirley)
  9. And there is one point i have to disagree on. I prefer the A340-300 over the A340-600.
  10. The reason it looks out of proportion is because your mind tries to compare it to the 787, but keep in mind that the 787 currently made is the shortest version of the 787. The A350 -900 is the middle version. When the A350-800 comes out, it will look even better. I like it too.
  11. Damn, i live in Belgium so i could have taken care of that for you. I also will be visiting the Normandie beaches in august, so i could have helped there. I'll try and see if it is possible to mail it anyway. I will contact our local postoffice tommorow (today is a national holiday) and see if it isn't allowed (just checking claimes).
  12. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=c32_1367332518 Video of the crash happening. Makes the hair on my neck stand up.
  13. I'm also building this kit and will also be using those markings. The kit is a bit of a bear, don't you think? I will be doing mine with the wheels up, but progress is slow as i also bought a house and am renovating that too.
  14. Let's give it a try. READ THIS Your link has a http:// too many. For instance: Your link: http://i1286.photobucket.com/albums/a618/bugs3144/003_zps54acb8b8.jpg'>http://http://i1286.photobucket.com/albums/a618/bugs3144/003_zps54acb8b8.jpg The way i use it: http://i1286.photobucket.com/albums/a618/bugs3144/003_zps54acb8b8.jpg
  15. No offence, but that is a knife that cuts both ways.
  16. Very nice model. Seriously. Now, for the critique part. :( I don't feel good doing this because even on my best day, i can't build such a nice model (i never tried 1/32 before, but still). The only point i can make to improve the Flanker just a little bit is the roundles. They look a bit to clean compared to the rest of the paintjob. Other than that, i can't find a fault. Great job.
  17. The incident was caught on tape (sort of) http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=ea8_1363870107
  18. If you look at the second picture, it looks like they crashed inside the olympic stadium. They were trying to land on the grass field i believe.
  19. One person died when 2 helicopters collided in Berlin. First indication show that both helicopters were trying to land when their rotors hit. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/at-least-one-person-dead-in-police-helicopter-crash-in-berlin-8543672.html
  20. True. They didn't find the root cause, but did you see the proposed solution? It is redundant and personaly i'm impressed on how safe it seems (if the explanation they offer is true). If all the features they explain are working like they designed them, i'm confident that no battery fire can occur. It could still fail, but i believe it can't burn. So, well done Boeing. But i do hope that if after some time they can't come up with a lighter package, i too hope they switch to more conventional batteries. It makes more sense and is a worry less for the fleet. Anyway, let's hope the test flights
  21. just to let people know, the Revell 747-8i is out. I visited my LHS and it has Lufthansa markings (of course). i didn't buy it, because my stash is too big as it is, but maybe in July i get it for my birthday.
